You have wiring underground from your house to the wellhead. You can follow this with a metal detector. As an aside, plastic pipe going to septic tanks is often buried with a strand of wire to make it easy to find in the same fashion.

Thanks. I also found out that I can use a line tracer to locate the submersible pump.
