At least when people are attacked by black mobs for being white it will be reported by the local media — provided the victims work for a newspaper. From Norfolk, Virginia:
"Wave after wave of young men surged forward to take turns punching and kicking their victim.
The victim’s friend, a young woman, tried to pull him back into his car. Attackers came after her, pulling her hair, punching her head and causing a bloody scratch to the surface of her eye. She called 911. A recording told her all lines were busy. She called again. Busy. On her third try, she got through and, hysterical, could scream only their location.

It happened four blocks from where they work, here at The Virginian-Pilot.
Two weeks have passed since reporters Dave Forster and Marjon Rostami – friends to me and many others at the newspaper – were attacked on a Saturday night as they drove home from a show at the Attucks Theatre. They had stopped at a red light, in a crowd of at least 100 young people walking on the sidewalk. Rostami locked her car door. Someone threw a rock at her window. Forster got out to confront the rock-thrower, and that’s when the beating began."
The media isn’t alone in its resolve to ignore the ongoing epidemic of black on white violence that liberal policies and rhetoric have inspired. When Rostami tried to tell the police what had happened,
"...she says the officer told her to shut up and get in the car. Both said the officer did not record any names of witnesses who stopped to help. Rostami said the officer told them the attackers were “probably juveniles anyway. What are we going to do? Find their parents and tell them?”
The officer pointed to public housing in the area and said large groups of teenagers look for trouble on the weekends. “It’s what they do,” he told Forster."
Getting zero help from the authorities, Forster investigated the crime himself by searching Twitter:
“I feel for the white man who got beat up at the light,” wrote one person.
“I don’t,” wrote another, indicating laughter. “(do it for trayvon martin)”
Happy with your handiwork, liberal media?
Try to imagine a mob of whites beating an innocent black couple. Every lib journalist in the country would die of sheer ecstasy.

What’s ironic is that when I lived in Virginia this was (and may still be) a VERY anti-gun rag. They were always fighting good gun laws and screaming that there’d be blood in the streets.
Sorry for what happened to the reporters, but I bet if they’d been armed the outcome would’ve been a little different. It will be interesting to see if they change their stance on CCW now.
She will never admit it, but I bet she wished many times she had a gun while under mob assault.

Might not have been the smartest move in the world to leave a locked car in the middle of an angry mob to tell off a member of that mob...
STILL, this sounds like that place is so overwhelmed with criminal mischief the police don’t want to deal with anything that’s short of a bloody murder. Call 911 and get voicemail?!?

Rock throwing gangs will never be intimidated by you wit or vocabulary.
If you’re in your car, that little pedal on the right is both your defense and your escape.
Even if you decide you need to conceal carry, I recommend the accelerator, in such circumstances.
Its what they do.
They were outnumbered 100-to-2. Their best solution would have involved STAYING IN THE CAR and flooring the gas to get out of there. If I find myself in an ugly crowd and somebody throws something at my windshield, I'm just going to floor it, get out of there, and deal with the police once I'm in a safe location.

The best solution would be to head to the projects in question, weld the doors shut, set the explosives, and solve the problem.
That isn’t exactly due process, but since the rule of law gave up, the residue you have behind such abdication is that you take the law into your own hands out of necessity.
You patrol it, you arrest the perps, and you put them in jail after trying them. If the police aren’t willing to do that, then trapping everyone in the building and lighting them on fire or demolishing them is your next option.
It’s not an ideal option, but its the one that remains. The alternative is that the feral mobs roam the streets.
My option’s actually cleaner.
Certainly the Leftist media has been a major contributor to this climate of pure hate; but it is not just the media that is responsible. It is the Leftist demagogogues (the Leftist politician & agitator, whose stock in trade has been to appeal to envy & create resentment, by engaging in the rhetoric of various forms of class warfare, at every opportunity.)
The mob is an ugly thing, to be sure; but we need to understand the tactics that incite mobs. The Leftist demagogue understands, and has employed the tactics of The Blame & Envy Cocktail as a path to Revolution & power, again & again, to the most terrible effect.

Why are you sorry? They just simply got caught up in the mess they themselves created. Personally I’m glad they got roughed up a bit, maybe next time they’ll stop and consider what might happen if they fan the flames of race hate like they have been. I wish more in the media would suffer the blowback for what they are doing to our country.
When you are driving in an unfamilar neighborhood, you should be careful not to have your head where it doesn't belong. Keep an eye out for crowds or any kind of trouble.
If you are coming up to an stoplight, and there is nobody in front of you, keep moving. Even if you are moving at a walking pace, you are better off than standing still. If there is trouble on the sidewalk, be prepared to run the light. No need to get yourself killed to avoid a $30 ticket.
If there are a bunch of cars in front of you, don't pull right up to the car in front of you. Leave as much space as you can, because if things turn sideways, space gives you room to maneuver and increases the possiblity for escape.
Now 99.99% of the time, this is wasted effort and an over-abundance of caution. Chances are those kids on the corner are harmless, just out to buy Skittles and such. But caution costs you nothing, and it could save everything.
Carrying can make the difference between life and death.
George Zimmerman could have died that day getting his head bashed in, as the sidearm might have saved his life.
The riots will be ugly after the November election as these types, goaded by the likes of Sharpton, will claim the election was stolen from them by racists.
Need to go get another 1,000 rounds purchased soon, as there will be a big run on ammunition the closer to November we get.
As was said, the best thing in that situation is to lock the doors and drive out or over the danger. If confronted with the same situation on foot, pray that you are carrying a firearm. In that situation one must not brandish nor threaten with the firearm. Take it out and use it against the closest threats. If you do and are lucky, you will get to live that day. You must realize that in that situation there are ringleaders that want you grievously injured or dead. Those are the ones to shoot first if you can identify who they are in the mob.
