Then you'll have two large leftist parties

Wake up and smell the coffee. That's all we've had for years.

Savage Beast: Whoever is elected President in November will probably appoint 4 justices to the Supreme Court.

Right this is the only, and I do mean O-N-L-Y reason any republican or conservative would vote for Willard.

Crap law can be corrected. S.C. Justices are for life and they can overturn crap law.

delapaz: I’m voting for Obama, because I expect Armageddon, and I’d rather have a Democrat to blame when it all goes down.

A Democrat executive and a GOP legislature is probably the best case scenario for us going forward.

I have heard this scenario from several folks I know. Serious, to the core, rational, thinking conservatives. The "Democrat executive and a GOP legislature" gridlock scenario is not entirely unconventional however, we are dealing with a nutjob that already is circumventing co-equal branches of our government with the support of the media.

I do not believe the gridlock scenario will work. It will play right into the hands of the nutjob with his "We can't wait for Congress to act" violations of the Constitution. Four more years of executive orders, memos, circumventions, unconstitutional procedure, illegal recess appointments and consolidation of power to the executive branch and this Republic will fall.

That is as certain as the sun will rise and set.

I an voting against the nutjob.

It does not look like I get to vote FOR anything... again.

What I am fearful of, Mary, is the second term of this communist we now have in office...I don’t think America will survive another term...He has even been able to skirt the checks and balances of Congress....He HAS to go.....

You can't start at the state or local level if 'moderates' are entrenched and have control of the rule-book. They do cheat to sideline true conservatives. Why do you think I left the GOP? I did work within the system. The system is corrupt, and the rules change to keep the 'moderates' on top.

Cut them off at the root is the only way to do it, and to do that, you can't reward them with a vote for a liberal.

No! NO MORE! Let the kenyan keep it another 4 years. Maybe enough of the right people will get pissed off.

BTW - has anyone even seen any Romney bumper stickers? I live in GA and I have seen ONE.

Let the chips fall where they may. I’m done voting for RINOs.

I agree with all you have said. I was just thinking out loud about some other possible scenarios or outcomes.

They could care less about the desire of some to be more to the right.

We have no impact on them at all.

2008 and 2012 prove this beyond any doubt.

Oh I’m fully expecting him to be a nutjob and to try nutjob stuff like taking over. Where I’m at is that at this point the only thing that will stop the Federal Government monster is the laws of economics itself. Romney won’t stop it, Obama won’t stop it.

The laws of economics will stop it, they have not been repealed. Sooner or later we run out of money to feed it. And the faster we run out the better....

therefore...

GOP congress to starve the beast with no tax increases, while continuing and generous spending and defense budget.

And Obama helps out with the payroll tax cuts and continuing rounds of “stimulus” spending.

And they’re financing it all with monopoly money. so the task for everyone else is to get out of debt, get your minds right about what’s coming and brace for impact. (gold, guns, and a years supply of food in the cellar would be helpful)
