It’s time for our periodic check up on the sinking global warming alarmism movement.

Let’s begin by noting the fading popularity of this eco-obsessive notion. “Earth Day stands up to the rain,” the Washington Post blared, putting as good a face on as lousy a turn-out as we can remember. The rain “didn’t stop the die-hards,” the report says. The Post didn’t give a crowd count.

I find that folks who post nothing but their own “writing” are here only to promote themselves and nothing more.

Many folks pimp their blogs, for better or worse, but isn't Landsbaum a staff reporter for the OC Register? Is posting an article that has already appeared in print in a major daily the same as pimping one's own blog site?

If I were still working as a journalist I would look for like-minded outlets on which to post my ramblings.

Upon further review, the stuff he writes appears to be specifically for the Register blog site.

Myself, I'd be a little more patient with him than I'd be with your average blogger who doesn't answer to any editor.

He admits he only posts his stuff here to benefit from the traffic.
