The states themselves could lead a tax revolt. The state governors could work with their county sheriffs, the top law officers under the Constitution, to declare and enforce a Federal tax holiday where they will arrest any Federal officer or IRS agent attempting to arrest citizens for not paying federal taxes. They could prevent employers from collecting withholding from employee pay, and threaten any bank with fines and the arrest of bank officers if they seize accounts for the IRS. Think of how their economies would boom!
There are so many ways to legally fight back.
Yet they will not.
These are all great ideas. Another way to get these assholes attention would be to stage a nationwide tax revolt on Apr 15th.
On Apr 25th we stage a midnight protest at every post office in the country where we burn the tax returns and refuse to send them any more of our money. Most people who wait until the last minute owe money anyway.
A couple of million and we have their attention.
