Goofy David Cameron at Obama Campaign Stops While Completely Ignoring American Conservative Leaders

Can you imagine Margaret Thatcher making a
special trip in '79 for photo ops with Jimmy Carter...
then not even willing to be seen with Reagan?

You'd think British PM David Cameron would be cultivating ties with America's resurgent conservative movement on his trip to the US this week, rather than being such a willing tool for far-Left, anti-British loon Barack Obama... an unpopular failure who's political demise seems more imminent by the day.

How is this doing a service for his claimed 'conservative' political principles, the American Right, or even the UK's national interest? Now Obama pumpers will be playing up how the GOP is just too wacked-out to get along with him and acquiesce to his ongoing date-rape of the country (we should be more like Dave- he's cool).

Nominal 'conservative' Cameron had Obama schedule the whole trip... is he really this stupid? Then why is a Tory leader allowing himself to be used so blatantly- helping to get this neo-Bolshevik disaster re-elected while we're all still fighting him tooth-and-nail in the trenches over here?

Nile Gardiner::

President Obama is using Cameron’s visit as a 2012 election campaign prop, flying the Prime Minister on Air Force One to the crucial swing state of Ohio to attend a college basketball game. He is also rolling out the red carpet for Mr Cameron with a state dinner and a 6000-strong reception on the White House lawn. All this fanfare, despite a track record of insulting Britain and knifing the British in the back over the Falklands.

.......
It is unfortunate that Downing Street has played into the Obama administration’s hands, allowing the White House to dictate the Prime Minister’s agenda. It is a short-sighted approach with significant long-term risks.

David Cameron’s visit to the United States this week is a lost opportunity. In addition to meeting with the President, Cameron should be reaching out to Republican leaders and the American conservative movement. As the latest Washington Post/ABC News and Rasmussen polls show, Barack Obama might not be in the White House for much longer.
.......
David Cameron has nothing to learn from Barack Obama’s big government agenda, but a great deal to gain from building ties with prominent US conservative leaders who are advancing a limited-government, low-tax agenda that pushes economic freedom rather than government bureaucracy.
.......
Britain’s true friends reside in the American conservative movement, and not in the Obama White House, which has taken every opportunity to undercut America’s closest ally on some key issues.

The winds of change are blowing though Washington, and Mr Cameron should be careful not to be chained to Barack Obama’s sinking presidency....

If the Ebony-n-Ivory tour isn't enough alone to make you blow chunks, there's even a joint Op-Ed in today's Washington Post entitled "An Alliance the World Can Count On" to kick it off, (although the only thing you can count on from these two is them putting the screws to Israel).

Alas, David 'I-Am-a-Liberal-Conservative" Cameron is what we Yanks refer to as a 'squish'... and this one's softer than eel poop at the bottom of the English Channel: the UK's Tory PM is known for having said things like "I run a progressive alliance" and "I am the heir to Blair" in the (recent) past.

Recall too that David Cameron is the misguided green-energy enthusiast that actually put a mini-windmill on his urban home's roof as some sort of political statement... and who was also pretty gung-ho about toppling Gaddafi and installing the neat, new Al Qaida-derived regime we enjoy today.

But American conservatives are going to remember this snub: we already knew this guy's no Thatcher or Churchill, that's for sure... I'm not even sure he's a John Major (more like Mr Bean).

Small wonder... Cameron swiped everything he's got from Blair's New Labour and their smiley-face-socialism.

American patriots, David Cameron is NOT your friend- do not trust this man to uphold conservative principles of any sort, ever. (unless you like being disappointed).

"Cameron: "Oh, yes. Yes, indeed. He spanked me real good. And then he beat me at table tennis."

Urkel: "Tee hee."

I was seriously wondering if this Derick Bell from Harvard was in Wright’s little club there... every pic I see he’s striking an effeminate pose, and he even spoke at the church in Chicago it’s said now

Then of course, Obama was REAL supportive...

People tell me I can be a bit naive sometimes, but...looking at that picture...does obama appear to be...um...like, really GAY to you or is it just me?

Just asking...not a judgement, just an observation...

Cameron is an ineffectual loser. Let him travel around with Obummer. They are made for each other. Stephen Harper is 10 times the Conservative leader Cameron is.

This is a VERY dicey situation for a foreign leader, especially with someone like Obama as president.

No matter what happens in November, foreign leaders have to deal with Obama until January, at the least. A major war is brewing in the mid-east and Obama holds grudges, to say the least. Cameron represents the UK, not American conservatives. He cannot be seen to be favoring one side or the other in an election year. He cannot be seen to be snubbing Obama at all.

He has probably calculated that Obama has a 50% chance of re-election. So, if he meets his opponents now, he stands a 50% chance of alienating the man who might be president for the next (almost) 5 years. I wouldn't take that bet either.
