Just to let everyone know I manage to purchase a suitable 20MM ammo can this week so I will be working on making a Ammo Can Rocket Stove this weekend I will take some pictures and post them hopefully in a few days.

Here's the diagram online:

Looks like, in order to add the "mass heater" functionality, you need a chamber (ie, a metal barrel) around the updraft chimney. Then you channel the exhaust through your mass to be heated (gravel bed, adobe, etc), then exhaust it outside.
From my understanding, the exhaust temperature tends to be really low.

If you order milk from canneries do NOT buy dry powder milk. Make sure you order INSTANT milk. There is a huge differen
ce in taste.
We ordered year supply of milk and eggs.
This week I can sirloin steak on sale at samcluhan.
Sam”s has 5 pounds honey for 12.00.
Baking soda vinegar and lemon juice pretty cheap too.
Tarps were 24.00 for 2. 10x16 I think.

Don’t recall if I’m on your ping list, or not but want to be.
Gotta do all I can to insure I’m on the ‘red’ list with the ptb. Sigh.

I assume most FREEPERS are.
If not, they aren’t living up to their name very well.
It’s kind of like being a Christian . . . I hope there’s
LOTS of evidence to convict me of that.

The fanatical leftist group
Southern Poverty Law Center is looking for more law-abiding citizens to label as militias, right-wing-radicals and etc.
They would love to start including preppers in that definition.

How do you keep eggs from spoiling in long term storage?
We go through tons of eggs, and I have yet to figure out how to add them to my preps.
Thanks!

$200 for a lifetime in any state (per weapon) for full auto
I think the Lahti is semi auto but falls in the category of “destructive device”
I think the tax stamp is the same, but I am not certain.
You used to be able to buy those via the mail from the back of magazines with ammo for like $265 bucks.
Now the ammo is like $20 a round.
Somehow no one was ever killed with one in peacetime and the world was just fine.

Or you can pickle them, but its not the same for breakfast ☺

I would stick to powdered eggs.
They aint bad for omelets if you have ingredients to perk them up.
We used to eat them on submarines.

I worked on one diesel.
The USS Bonefish, SS 582
The air just reeks of diesel.
It’s everywhere.
But the 637 class boats left you reeking of Amine.
It is what it is

We picked up some awesome hiking socks for the whole family. Also picked up some glow sticks and dozens of eggs! Still have to buy the mineral oil, but plan on dehydrating/powderizing some of them as well. Will be drying some more apples and garlic cloves (not at the same time) soon.
Saw a great idea on this week’s Doomsday Preppers for making fuel bricks from paper and leaves. We’ll be looking into that soon too!
