Does This 1938 French Cartoon Foretell The USA Under President Fluke?

Sandra Fluke, a professional agitator, has become the poster girl of the left and the left supported President Obama and his administration. She appears to be a humourless, single-minded apparatchik, ruthless and intolerant of those with opposing views. Nevertheless it would be unwise to underestimate this woman. She is intelligent and has a superb feel for any political opportunity. She will no longer operate in the political shadows. She, and many like her, is the future of the Stalinist left.

She is like "Strelnikov" in Doctor Zhivago...at first appearing to be truly fighting for a good cause, then once gaining power, becoming a ruthless enforcer.

Note the year, 1938...it underlies something I have always believed....that one of the reasons Britain and France appeased Hitler, was because they ultimately were more afraid of the Soviets.

Here’s another oldie but goodie.

The danger remains Communism.

Photobucket

It was the Communist plan in 1934. It is 0bama’s Communist plan today.

Excellent point - and they good reason to fear Stalin’s USSR and his agents abroad. Unfortunately, this prejudice blew their chance to ally with the USSR in early ‘39 and quash the still vulnerable Nazi war machine.

The West’s elites misunderestimated Hitler; that was their blunder. Their overestimation of Stalin is another story. ;^)

This was what Churchill was up against, mostly within his own party back then......It was easy to see why many British politicians thought it would be a good idea to allow Hitler to have his Eastern colonies....Britain and France have their colonies, why can’t Germany have hers? And if he takes out the threat of Bolshevism, even better. And back then, there was a lot of merit to that argument.

Churchill was the one of the few who did see that Hitler was no friend to them.

A few items from the nazi party planks adopted in Munich in 1920.

We ask that the government undertake the obligation above all of providing citizens with adequate opportunity for employment and earning a living.

The activities of the individual must not be allowed to clash with the interests of the community, but must take place within its confines and be for the good of all.

Therefore, we demand:

an end to the power of the financial interests .

We demand profit sharing in big business.

We demand a broad extension of care for the aged.

We demand. . . the greatest possible consideration of small business in the purchases of the national, state, and municipal governments.

In order to make possible to every capable and industrious [citizen] the attainment of higher education and thus the achievement of a post of leadership, the government must provide an all-around enlargement of our system of public education. . . .

We demand the education at government expense of gifted children of poor parents. . . .

The government must undertake the improvement of public health — by protecting mother and child, by prohibiting child labor — by the greatest possible support for all clubs concerned with the physical education of youth.

We combat the . . . materialistic spirit within and without us, and are convinced that a permanent recovery of our people can only proceed from within on the foundation of " The Common Good Before the Individual Good ."

Churchill was the one of the few who did see that Hitler was no friend to them.

Churchill was simply paying attention to what Hitler's supporters were saying in the background.

Workers of all lands, unite — to smash the rule of English capitalism! You young upward-striving nations of the earth, combine to annihilate the old English dragon who blocks the treasures of the earth and withholds from you the riches of the world.

-Robert Ley, German Labor Front leader (Hitler's Trumpka)

Well, *they* did strip Germany of its colonies in the Treaty of Versailles, iirc.

Imagine it’s 1935....you have to choice to support one country against the other.

Country A: Desires colonies in the East, but makes no claim on any British colonies or interests.

Country B: A country whose stated goal, is working towards the violent overthrow, and physical extermination of the ruling class in every country in the world.

Without the benefit of hindsight, which one would you support?

From what I remember reading, the "elite" of the time were enamored of both, probably assuming that they will retain their elite position, if not hoping to be the one "eaten" last, whether it was Hitler or Stalin.

Overall, I would imagine that the Brits were hoping that Hitler and Stalin would take each other out.

The National SOCIALIST German WORKERS Party.

All these leftist are cut from the same cloth, if we lived in 1935 you could bet your bottom dollar that Dingy Harry, Pelosi, Kathleen Death Panel, and Ubama would have the biggest crush on Hitler. (and trust me the antisemitism wouldn't bother them a bit)

That of course was the best case scenario......the reason Stalin signed the Non-Aggression Pact with Hitler, was he thought Britain, France and Germany would take each other out, and allow the Soviets to sweep in and take over all of Europe...it turned out that France capitulating so quickly, was a blessing in disguise.

Hitler, a man after Obama's heart.

Gold is not neccesary. I have no interest in gold. We will build a solid state, without an ounce of gold behind it. Anyone who sells above the set prices, let him be marched off to a concentration camp. That's the bastion of money.

-Hitler.
