Time Marches On
Conservative Outcry ^ | 2/29/12

"What they didn't expect was the complete ineptness of this president!" A great many have made something close to this statement over the last three years. Stating that voters did not expect the complete ineptness of Obama is a very dangerous and misguided assertion to make. Conservative pundits almost overwhelmingly make this incorrect assumption in every critique of the administration. These pundits could not possibly be more wrong.  I contend that there is absolutely nothing inept about this president. He is quite capable.

Each and every action taken by Obama is but a step in a grand plan that marches towards achieving an ultimate, unstated, goal. Each step taken by this administration is very carefully planned and is executed with breathtaking efficiency. Underestimating Obama by thinking him “inept” is to invite not only disaster but the destruction of the very foundations of this country and western civilization.

Was the government seizing control of 1/5 of the entire U.S. economy (healthcare) in defiance of the Constitution and against the overwhelming objection of the people an inept misstep?

Was more than doubling an already onerous national debt while continuously demanding, and receiving, more money a simple mistake?

Was making recess appointments while Congress was in session a simple administrative error?

Was appointing demonstrably radical individuals to numerous advisory and regulatory positions simple politics?

Is mandating by executive fiat something as bizarre as requiring that religious organizations provide employees [of all things] "free" contraception simply an inept decision?

No. Obama is not inept. He is frightfully competent. Obama is steering the United States into fascist-collectivism at breakneck speed and is doing so with dramatic success. Each example mentioned above (and to be sure, there are countless others) is designed to achieve one or more specific goals. Socializing healthcare was the easiest sector of the economy to gain control over and the most important. By socializing healthcare (or, at the least, permitting government to enact central planning of the industry) the government now affects every American in ways it never could before. Its tentacles reach out far beyond just regulating insurance companies and now affect doctors, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, religious organizations, charities, and many other enterprises as well. The government may now decree what is and is not appropriate in healthcare (controlling individuals), what is and is not appropriate for businesses (controlling the economy) and what is and is not its concern (the never before seen expansion of power and control over private business, regulations, individuals’ freedom and most recently, control over religious institutions and conscience).

Destroying the economy through excessive debt without compensatory gains was done to slowly destroy the currency as well as the existing government responsible for that debt. To think otherwise is simply not rational. Those who support such insane spending increases are either complicit or simply not capable of rational thought (useful idiots).

Making recess appointments while Congress is not in recess was a small but important test made by the administration. Small and rather inconsequential direct violations of the Constitution, essentially ignored by Congress, the media and the people, tested the limits of executive power and set an alarming precedent – it is now acceptable for this administration to violate and, if needed, shred the Constitution as it deems necessary to advance whatever policies it must in order to achieve whatever goals it desires.

Appointing radicals to positions in the administration such as Van Jones (a self-declared communist), Carol Browner (who has called for global governance), Anita Dunn (mass murderer and despot Chairman Mao is one of her two favorite “philosophers”) and Cass Sunstein (who has said a number of bizarre anti-people and anti-liberty things such as, “Animals should be permitted to bring suit… with human beings as their representatives”). The list goes on. If the White House is not radical but mainstream, why are so many appointees radical and what purpose would radicals even serve if not to enact radical regulations and mainstream radical thought and policies?

Mandating that religious institutions violate the tenets of their respective faiths is self-explanatory. Clearly violating the Constitution and setting the precedent that the government may now dictate what each religion must do and, in turn, believe is a power grab at the very conscience of America and the usurpation of the most fundamental of our liberties.

Marx claimed all of history was but a struggle between the bourgeosie and the proletariat, the haves versus the have-nots. The course of history, according to Marx, could only be changed, and was destined to change, by the ascendancy of the working class in its struggle against the rich. This administration has, true to form, made class warfare the centerpiece of it campaign and policies. It is certainly not a mistake that the wealthiest 1% is now the most demonized demographic in the country, thanks to this administration.  Class warfare is not being used as a campaign slogan simply to advance the reelection of a Democrat in the White House. Class warfare is the battle Obama actually wants to have and is actively waging.

Marx and Lenin saw the need for revolution to attain their goals. Progressives, going back to the late 19th century, have always had the exact same goals as Marxists. The path chosen by progressives, however, was not a sudden uprising by the people but the taking of slow, steady, PROGRESSIVE steps over time that will allow them to achieve their ultimate goal of creating a fascist-collective state. The progressives have been slowly and steadily advancing their cause, almost unimpeded, for over a century. Obama is, quite successfully and anything but ineptly, picking up the cadence progressives have been marching to all along.

Good article, but phenomenally depressing.

It’s beginning to look like the reset button is the only way out of this mess.
