I’ve seen a lot of people use that phrase or a variation thereof – usually original is enough to set them off, as though the word “National” somehow modifies the meaning of the word “Socialist”.

Socialism is Socialism no matter if you put National in front of it or not.

But try some these variations I’ve seen around web:

Socialist National Media

Socialists in the National Democratic Party

Democratic National Socialist Committee.

Obummer’s National agenda of Socialism.

Mixing around the words sometimes catches them off guard and they let it go right past them.

Or better yet, use a variation like Socialist National platform and see them get all indigent over it and then realize it’s not the same thing as National Socialist…

On that thread I posted, someone once wrote that Obama is more of an INTERnational Socialist. That makes a lot of sense. But since the joke is lost on so many ignorant people when I call him a National Socialist, moving forward to International Socialist makes the joke even more obscure.
