The arms race between humanity and disease-causing bacteria is drawing to a close—and the bacteria are winning. The latest evidence: gonorrhea is becoming resistant to all standard antibiotic treatment.
Gonorrhea is one of the most common sexually transmitted diseases in the world—with about 600,000 cases diagnosed in the U.S. each year. A few years ago, investigators started seeing cases of infection that did not easily respond to treatment with a group of drugs called cephalosporins, which are currently the last line of defense against this particular infection. Now, the number of drug-resistant cases has grown so much in the U.S. and elsewhere that gonorrheal infection may soon become untreatable, according to doctors writing in the February 9 issue of the New England Journal of Medicine.

One of the features of the last days, according to the Bible, is great outbreaks of incurable diseases, aka pestilence.
Another reason to not be there.
50 years ago VD was rare in this area. In the last forty years you can’t pick up an skank from a Oklahoma state line bar without catching the drip-drip-drip.
Heck, a big part of my job as a shipboard Navy Corpsman in the early 70’s was treating Gonorrhea contracted in the Philippines, and it was already becoming resistant by the end of my enlistment.

STDs are simply God’s way of telling us to “keep it in our pants”. Unfortunately for us, we didn’t get the message over the past several thousand years, and thus, he came up with AIDS/HIV.

I'm 26, single male. Premarital sex is still going on but all my friends are being much more selective and waiting to know the girl first. HPV is rampant about 30%
I know of one girl who has HPV-2 and she is not telling new guys she is hooking up with. People like this, male and female need to be brought up on harsh criminal charges and this would stop.
No matter the circumstances of acquiring the incurable VD it is imperative that this not be allowed to take more lives.People will die from this in it’s advanced stages.
