Levin BLASTS Krauthammer, Will, Coulter, and Rubin on Attempts to Destroy Gingrich
Reaganite Republican ^ | December 15, 2011 | Reaganite Republican

Posted on 12/15/2011 6:26:45 AM PST by Reaganite Republican

Says they remind him of previous
attacks on Sarah Palin emanating from
these same useful idiots illuminati...

Shillin' for Mittens:

The Great One yesterday:

'Well, Good Lord I have never seen an attack on somebody like I'm seeing on Newt Gingrich- it reminds me of Sarah Palin at this point'

'You go read Jennifer Rubin there in the Washington Compost...(lol), she's making a career out slaughtering conservatives- and Newt Gingrich in particular- because she's in Romney's back pocket.  No offense, Jennifer- it's just obvious, you're writing, I'm reading.'

'Look at George Will... I think his bow-tie popped off his neck. The fact is, his wife works for the Perry campaign... it's ethical, I guess- but it doesn't seem that way to me... Way over the top with these attacks, suggesting Gingrich is a Marxist... really! Pretty stupid.'

'And my new friend Charles Krauthammer -I met him over the weekend at a Redskins game- nice guy... I liked him very much.  WAY over the top right now...'

'I believe in being intellectually honest about this...'

'Now, I think a lot of the stuff that's being said about Gingrich is preposterous- it's actually poisonous. -it  really is.  I do not see similar attacks on Romney. Now Romney doesn't have all of the personal baggage that Gingrich does- but Romney's got baggage. Just go on the internet... I can't find that in Jennifer Rubin columns'

'... and I suspect many of these folks would have been backing Gerald Ford in 1976, and appalled that Reagan would dare challenge him.

And in 1980 -like George Will- would have been backing Geo HW Bush and Howard Baker -and not Ronald Reagan in 1979- and that's what George Will did.

Or as late as 1984... with my new friend Charles Krauthammer backing Walter Mondale...

Now they tell us the only guy that can win is Romney- and they're flat out wrong. And I say this as somebody who is not a Newt guy...'
_________________________________________________________________________________

So what conservatives need to be asking themselves as primary season dawns is "why are such  widely-read 'conservative' pundits -some of who said just a year ago that Romney was a loser- now on the same sideline as the Obammunist MSM, cheering Mittens on...? And why are they also and attacking his opponents -above all the GOP front-runner- in a concerted, aggressive manner- what's up with that, Dr. K?

The ineligible Mitt 'Hussein' Romney:
"I bet you $10,000 that the docile stupid RINOs
like Krauthammer, Will, and Coulter
will simply ignore what I do today,
and will continue to pimp me for me
-- even if YOU rot in jail.”

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

[Cato Institute annual Fiscal Policy Report Card - America's Governors, 2004.]

Milt Romney – the Magic RINO:
"I'm not running as the Republican view
or a continuation of Republican values.
That's not what brings me to the race.

(Romney Video, accessed 9/19/07)

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party
over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged
to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support.
Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates
wouldn’t make any sense at all.""

Good Grief! I think Mark is slipping. He must have missed the way Herman Cain was lynched just last month........

I don't care nearly as much for Gingrich as I still do for Herman Cain.....

That was “would” not “will”.
And if he does, he will vote alone with you for the
perverted saboteur Milt.

If RINO/Backstabber Romney is on the ticket,
half the Republican population will not vote
(destroying other GOP candidates (i.e. Romney’s dream))
and the other half, we write in another’s name.

Check yesterday’s poll here on FR. Most Freepers will vote for Romeny IF IF IF he is the nominee.

Anything is better than the Kenyan.

BTW, Gingrich has lost 40% overnight on Intrade. Other shifts too:

I’m not a big Levin fan but he’s right on the money on this issue. I can’t believe the daily assault on one of our own candidates by these pundits. Even Brit Hume was spewing the poison the last few nights. This is the same effort by the GOP elite to get the RINO nominated that we saw in 2008. Only its worse this time around because the base is resisting so hard. People have finally wised up.

Look at their accomplishments. Newt allied himself with Ronald Reagan to build the Reagan Coalition, the Religious Right, and the Republican majority (together the Reagan Revolution) which directly led the downfall of the Soviet Union, the Contract with America, government reforms, less government, tax cuts, a balanced budget, and the great, long-standing Reagan economy.

Romney, on the other hand, vehemently denied Ronald Reagan and aligned himself with Ted Kennedy and the left. Romney accomplished installing liberal big government programs, defended and promoted Roe v Wade and legalized abortion as “settled law,” advocated and implemented RomneyCare with its liberty killing government mandates against formerly free citizens and its taxpayer funded or subsidized and mandated abortion procedures. He ran and governed to the left of Ted Kennedy on the “gay agenda” resulting in gay marriage in Massachusetts. He appointed liberal judges and liberal appointees throughout his government. Under his “leadership” conservatism and the Republican party was all but destroyed in Massachusetts.

Romney is one evil liberal progressive. No way in hell will MittBots be allowed to support this abortionist, big government, socialist scumbag on FR!

Guess my message isn’t clear enough. I have to keep repeating it and zotting would be MittBots.

I wonder why Mark didn’t mention Glenn Beck

I listened to Beck for the first time in about a month yesterday and ALL it was was a blast against Newt. After ten minutes or so I turned it off. Beck, to me, has lost it (what a fall from just 12 months ago!) and his show is little more than kumbaya bs.

They (Beck, Coulter, Rove, Will, Fox News, etc., etc.) can shove Mitt at me 'til the cows come home. I will NEVER vote for him!

I heard him and he said that if Romney were the candidate he would vote for him, rather than throw another vote to obama.

If you go back a two years, Mark talked about Beck the same way he talks about Michael Savage — disparagingly. He frequently made comments like the 5 pm’er, and back bencher. He had(has) no use for Beck and many here on FR took Levin to task for that. Mark is no slouch when it comes taking down radio/TV hosts who he feels are taking conservatism in the wrong direction. On the other hand, his praise of Rush and Sean is real and heartfelt and though he disagrees with him, he is friends with Fox’s curmudgeon Bob Beckel.

Good analysis from levin, who is not a big Newt fan himself.

So its not just us who are leaning towards Newt who think its a bit ridiculous how they’re treating him.
