I stumbled upon the Flashbang Bra Holster while browsing the Internet for my first firearm. I had looked at a bunch of sites and, just for the heck of it, I searched “guns for girls”—shamefully hoping I might find something aesthetically pleasing.

The first website I came to was a Girl’s Guide to Guns, which led me to a product review for this contraption.

As a new hunter—I just passed my test this weekend—I don’t think that I’ll be buying a handgun any time soon, so the Flashbang is currently just a curiosity for me, but the idea of toting a gun around in my bra is certainly intriguing. I may have to get one just to try it out.

Hmm

After watching the videos, it looks like a pretty good deal, but I am concerned that the shooters left hand may be getting in the line of fire if not very careful.

I suppose it's better than the case of not having a firearm when you need one fast.

“Good Lord. How does one get to it in time?”

Easy,,, you are a bad guy,,, and the woman looks at you and seems to begin undressing. The guy would stand there frozen in amazement until suddenly, “BANG”.

By reaching under the shirt. There are videos of accessing and firing a pistol from this holster, its really a holster not a complete bra, the holster secures to the bottom front band of the bra between the cups, in under 3 seconds if memory serves. This was invented by and is being marketed by a woman for concealed carry protection. I was amazed at its concealability under a fairly tight baseball type t-shirt.

You would be surprised at how concealable this is under a t-shirt.

Boys and girls (FYI, I'm a boy), I've been using a rig for many months now that I can use under a T-shirt!

It's very comfortable and as long as you're not in some skin-tight outfit, your piece disappears.

I carry a full-size 1911, my Springfield XD sub-compact or a PF9...all using the same holster. It's a shoulder holster-type rig, but is super light and made of cotton. I can sit, bend over...whatever and the gun stays secure. I live in S. Texas and it's a cast iron you-know-what finding a rig you can carry concealed, not be VERY uncomfortable or have to overdress to wear it.

Look up "kangaroocarry". Or click HERE for a short vid.

Seriously. This thing disappears under almost anything. And I can carry a full sized automatic all day long comfortably.

As far as getting to the gun if you need to...when you need to, you will.

Worth looking at, anyhoo. It's got my recommendation.

Wasn’t there a “bra” gun in a James Bond movie?

Ladies looking to conceal and carry might want to look at designerconcealedcarry.com

I have no pecuniary interest; I just heard their founder interviewed on GunTalk this past Sunday, and thought it interesting.

But I don't want my piece to disappear.

Oh. Never mind.
