I have a question to ask you, since you have been a LEO in the past. Do you see the flash mobbing or shoting go down in during the cold weather months?
I choose to enjoy the fun flash mobs, and arm myself in case of organized wilding. : )
Interesting graph. It looks like gun violence is caused by heat. The hotter the country, the higher the homicide rate.

Flash mobs are the new slave rebellions, agaisnt slavery imposed by a century of liberal ideology and “do-goodism”. Liberalism has trapped blacks on urban plantations, destroyed their families, and robbed them of dignity and hope. It has turned black teens into “babymamas” and absentee hip-hop fathers with their pants on the ground. Liberalism has killed the American dream for millions of black youth, stripped them of initiative and industriousness, and doomed them to self-hatred and failure.

Let me add that finding yourself in the midst of a crowd that has the mindset you accurately described, the transforming flashpoint will always be a sudden and unpleasant surprise. If one is in the middle, elbow to elbow, it’s a short quick and ugly trip to the ground armed or not.
And locking the front door is not always a deterrent in a small store. NYC has a sad record of thugs squirting lighter fluid and gasoline under the door and lighting up.
Situational awareness is critical. Move away and out is always the first and best choice.
The outdoor shooting tend to drop off during the winter months, but the tempers don’t. I have a non-scientific theory that heating your house with the oven makes people crazy.
Anywhere the youths gather indoors, there is going to be a fight, stabbing or shooting and it takes awhile for the tempers to cool; always someone out for revenge and it’s usually over something stupid,like “what you said to my lil cousin?”
The hot months does have more violence though and any venue that promotes a family setting is going to bring the troublemakers.
I and alot of others won’t go to Six Flags anymore because of the ignorant and rude SOBs there. They also don’t allow any to carry in there, including LEOs.
Agreed, and once on the ground, the mob is going to do Riverdance on your back and head. I know it sounds odd, but I suggest to others that they practice dry firing while prone on their back, or a semi-fetal position. Once the initial engagement is over, Hotel Alpha as fast as you can, cause retribution is coming from the mob.
This is only if they cannot avoid the assault in the first place.

FR Squantos has mentioned it more than once, as well as sacricing an old windbreaker or jacket to practice shooting from the pocket in close quarters with a sudden threat.
Gun or not, in such situations it nearly always ends up on the ground. And with multiple assailants, it's Reginald Denny or worse all over again.
I took my family to the Omaha zoo recently, and I was making plans in my head for weeks ahead of time about the “what ifs”. I was very aware of my surroundings, looking for groups of people, especially those with a “uniform” (it has been observed that the flash mob “uniform” is white shirts and dark pants/jeans).
Not a hint of a problem at all there. Lots of big families (with fathers present), lots of pregnant women (also with fathers present). No hints of violence or threats or domineering counterculture or rudeness anywhere.

A hyperbolic article like this gives a false picture. Obuma’s “peeples” are acting out their violence in mostly liberal cities in the north.
A gang of black thugs tried flash mobbing in Columbia, South Carolina, back in May. The state arrested all of them, and charged each thug under the state’s anti-lynching law. Each is facing 20 years in prison. If the white boy they beat up had died, they’d be on death row awaiting execution.
In addition, the South Carolina Supreme Court has greatly expanded the target list of criminals that armed citizens can cull from the thug herd. Lots of people are armed and ready.
The flash mobbing is a problem for liberal cities run by liberals. Other areas of the country have given the country a blueprint to solve the problem. So if the situation gets out of control in Philadelphia or Chicago, come on down south and we’ll give you a few lessons to take back home.
The zoo is for those who have an appreciation for animals other than pitbulls. It’s educational as well, and well we have seen the urban public schools resounding successess...
Every time I have gone to the St. Louis zoo, there is always a group of youths chunking rocks at the animals or deliberately provoking them.
I bet the animals are bemused at the zoo outside their enclosures...

Though, funny you should mention it - I was able to pick out the homeschooling families from great distances.
What's also needed is explicit legal recognition that a group of violent people, even if not armed with weapons, constitute a deadly threat which may be met by deadly force.

Also, I’m really surprised that Holder hasn’t stepped in to protest the use of anti-lynching laws against “his people”.
I’m also heartened to see a state applying laws equally to all people.
I want to know why the cops haven’t grabbed a few flash mobbers, taken their phones and/or computers, got a warrant for their phone records and traced the message up and down the chain and arrested everybody in it.
False information. Pennsylvania has been "shall issue" CCW for 20 years, yet we still have flash mob activities in Philadelphia.
The mothers (no father, naturally) are NOT living in denial. They purposefully raise their sons to be violent thugs, they themselves sleep with violent thugs, and encourage their daughters to sleep with violent thugs, for one simple reason: having a violent thug around will protect them from the OTHER violent thugs of the neighborhood.
In those neighborhoods, a woman who does not have the ability to call down violence upon any who "disrespect" her is prey. A woman who can have disrespect answered with death is respected. It's the WOMEN of the "inner city" who are the cause of this.
If the women all in unison refused to sleep with any man who did not have a respectable job and was willing to marry them, the problems of the inner city would evaporate tomorrow.
Well the winter is when the anger builds up and explodes in the summertime.
