Talented WR, legendary work ethic, not too bright. Sirius NFL radio gave him a year to get his announcing/talking-on-the-radio skills up to speed by putting him on late night talkshows. Couldn’t even hang talking to truckers about football.

As a Raider fan, I can say Rice wasn't all that great of a receiver. While he played for Oakland, he would get lost during the games. Couldn't be found. Well, of course he wasn't "all that" when with the Raiders. He was well past his prime. But when he was at the top of his game in SF, there were none better.

Montana made Rice great. I used to talk to both of them at meals in Santa Clara. Rice was not the brain trust there.

Actually, as a 49er fan who “hates” the Cowboys, I do like some of the individual Cowboys’ players, including Smith. I hope he views that moment as one of life’s fumbles.

Apparently two-and-half years aren’t long enough for Rice this jack@$$. Just exactly how much time is needed to fix what Obama “inherited” from President Bush?Hey listen @ hole, I wish I could have blamed my previous boss on everything that went wrong when I got to be supervisor. Unfortunately, everything fell into the "It's your fault" the day I took the job, not 2 1/2 years later.
