“I’m concerned that this increased speculation could cause a backlash against some of our Muslim soldiers. And I’ve asked our Army leaders to be on the lookout for that,” Casey told CNN’s “State of the Union.”

Asked on NBC’s “Meet the Press” whether Muslim soldiers are conflicted in fighting wars in Muslim countries like Afghanistan and Iraq, Casey said: “I think that’s something that we have to look at on an individual basis. But I think we as an Army have to be broad enough to bring in people from all walks of life.”

“Our diversity, not only in our Army, but in our country, is a strength. And as horrific as this tragedy was, if our diversity becomes a casualty, I think that’s worse,” Casey said.

Brass gets to golf the grunts aren’t even safe in stateside. Great.

If he had been a grunt in an Islamic country’s military and had caused any kind of disturbance, he would have been dead inside a week.

Sorry, you are a very poor speller. It is NOT “week”. Rather it is “hour”. I deduct 10 points.

There is NO Islamic soldier in the United States military that can be fully trusted.

Not one.

My opinion only. I realize that yours may be different.

But I make no apologies for the above assertion.

Just sayin’....

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Please would some journalist ever ask any moron who spews this to prove how people who want to kill us, give us strength or how can third world types who do not even know how to use flush toilets can possibly strengthen us, or how people who refuse to learn our language strengthen us,...

Diversity just one more outright lie by the left. Diversity is wonderful only for parasites.

Cultural diversity can be a good thing, depending upon its specific nature and uses. But, as even a fool should be able to understand, diversity can also be a fatal flaw.

My boys are half Thai, though neither one spoke it. Mama was (and is) working on her English. The older one (the one we lost in Iraq) did well with high school Spanish and the younger one was doing OK with German. Computers, art, electronics, machining, whatever, they are diverse. A little right-wing and conservative, but someone has to make up for Dad, eh?

Casey has retired but I would name him as the General Most Likely to help Obozo stage a coup.
