Hmmm... I see what you're saying. I could have worded my comment better.

Since Newsweek is no longer part of the Washington Post news group, maybe they are Newsweek is trying to become more relevant.

And, yes, I worry about the Washington Post and other liberal/leftwing publications issuing faint praise. But remember, praise, such as it might be, is always "balanced" by a hit piece somewhere else in the publication. Count on it. A leopard's spots may fade when shedding its coat, but they never disappear.

Okay, okay. I’m convinced now. She’s really not running. ... When “they” are after you anyway for questionable brains, why deliver proof and sell calendars shots?

Well, o.k. then. You can stick with this one:

Newsweek is nearly bankrupt (financially, if not morally) and they know Sarah sells. That’s why they’re giving her publicity.

I thought the cover photo looked a little awkward more than “relaxed” and it almost appeared as if they enhanced her bust the way Rolling Stone enhanced Al Gore’s “package” back in 2000. Again, to sell magazines, not so much to promote the candidacy.

All great shots of an impressive, intelligent lady.

I'd love to see Matthews and Couric and their ilk kicked off Sarah's planes! Just do it!

Okay, okay. I’m convinced now. She’s really not running. These photos are wonderful and she is very beautiful, but these poses appear to be designed for commercial material and not presidential hopes.

Okay, you're right.

Here's a very presidential picture of Perry posing with a puppy.

...just for you.

LOL!

"One problem newsweek has is that it is about impossible to take a bad picture of Sarah"

It is certainly a fact that any picture of her shows a person comfortable and confident with who she is.A vast contrast to the transparent shallow, establishment types which are foisted upon us.

I hope she does run and look forward to the immense popcorn fest that will ensue as all the beltway elitists run in circles devising plans and lies to destroy her.

When that happens,if the silent masses become loud and come to her defense, then maybe there will be some real hope and change.

You’re right to be skeptical. Sarah should have been also. Of the 8 pictures posted, not one was in a suit, at a rally, in a meeting. They were all glamor shots and completely alone. Why do you suppose they did that?

When will Republicans realize that they are being interviewed and photographed by DEMOCRATS?

Cute. I noticed Ricter is on the grounds of the Governor’s Mansion at least, which counts a tad more toward the politics over the calendars. But, thanks. :)

You're being selective. You see the evidence that suggests Perry may run and you ignore the evidence that Palin may run.

Indeed, it may well be that the liberal MSM is promoting Palin because its stupid enough to think Obama couldn't lose to her.

Something along the lines of being hoist on their own petard!

Perry has been pretending a run for a lot less time than the calendar girl, and if he pretends anywhere near as long as she, I’ll be looking elsewhere from him too. It seems unfair to the others who are doing the heavy lifting, and it sets the bench sitters up, legitimately, for being called “spoilers”. Rick has his team together and looks serious. Money and endorsements count and they’re after it.
Sarah isn’t.
