The interesting question is whether Roger Ailes is behind these attacks on Palin, or thought that he could manipulate her like a puppet.

BOR is simply behaving him like himself. Nobody needs to instruct him how to make himself obnoxious—he does it by nature.

It seems to me that Fox could have let Palin go when they let two other potential candidates go. That would have given them sufficient defense against attacking a woman. Besides, there isn’t a feminist anywhere who likes Palin anyway.

Does Roger Ailes want to be the Soros of the right? I find that hard to believe. What he has done best is make money for Fox News by doing what’s needed to increase their ratings. Hiring Palin certainly made sense from that point of view.

FNC ping,

It seems like just yesterday that Obama was launching a War on FNC. How time flies. Checkout all these post comments defending FNC just 18 months ago:

THE WHITE HOUSE - Despite the President's promise of a swift and decisive victory, Obama's War on Fox News has developed all signs of an unwinnable quagmire, making the White House even more isolated in its unilateral attempts to crush the growing media insurgency
Obama's War on Fox News Becomes a Quagmire(FR post, People's Cube | 10-20-09)

MSNBC anyone ? LOL

I will say this: Of all the slimey news networks; Fox News is the least slimiest.

High praise in this day and age.

When Bill O’Reilly kept interrupting her interviews and finally Governor Palin confronted him on television, Bill’s ego was hurt and he didn’t like it. Governor Palin warned O’Reilly to behave or else.

Yes she did. Hot Damn this gal is a real American. Palin, Palin, Palin. Why aren't there more like her? O'Reilly never recovered.

This race is shaping up to be a disaster. Part of me wishes that the Palinistas will get her as the nominee, only to have lose to Obama in a landslide

I am bookmarking this comment so that on Nov 6, 2012 at 9pm ET, I can come back to remind you how weak was your comment.

Sarah will easily crush the Marxist (>370EV) Sarah is the only one that the Marxist fears. He knows she has his number. She will know how to have him "lose it" in the first debate. He will find a way not to debate her more than once.

Sarah is a big girl and has a few rounds under her belt with those who've underestimated her in the past. Watch it, Fox, you're not invincible.

FOX News is not conservative.

They have not been for a while.

Who are the people that call FOX News conservative? Rachel Maddow? Chris Matthews? Give me a break.

Palin needs to go visit Nikki Haley in SC. while there she needs to let Nikki explain how SC has the most effective laws on E-Verify and immigration. Then let Nikki show Sara how the trust but verify feature of the laws are being blocked by Napolitano because they really do not want workplace enforcement. They will not let the state auditors check out the printed proofs of E-Verify usage. THAT’S CALLED SMART & INDEPENDENT CAMPAIGNING.

“Things are going to get worse. Fox is about to up the ante and it’s going to get ugly.”

For several years I have occasionally been frustrated with Fox. However, warts and all, they were still the best available.

I just learned not to watch the segments/reporters that I didn’t like. Unfortunately, I can now tolerate less and less of their lib and anti conservative B/S.

I would save over $100 a month if I simply shut the satellite service down. I do watch a few things beyond Fox, but I can do without them too. Heck, any movies we want to watch are rented from a local store once a week.

I’m now going to give this some serious thought, because quite frankly, Fox needs us, we don’t need Fox.

Ailes does believe that he helped boost her up and that she owes him her fame. He also believes that Palin is hurting the Fox brand.

Note to Mister Ailes:

The only thing that's hurting the "Fox brand" in my house is exactly what you've chosen to make of what used to be a halfway decent news organization.

Right now, Fox is little more than a news network wannabe, with so little real difference between them and the ABC/CBS/NBC cabals there is little point in keeping cable service.

Maybe Governor Palin let slip a bit more than she intended when she was quoted as saying she didn't need the media.

JMHO, Fox and you need both Governor Palin and me a whole lot more than either of us need you.

I've already sh**canned you. I fully expect to hear that Palin's done the same.

My guess is Obama fears Palin like the bearded Marxist in Delaware feared Christine O’Donnell.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I pray for the day that there will be a truly **conservative**, 24/7, Internet-based, news “channel”. Fox's ratings will disappear like a rock thrown through pond scum.

I haven't watched Fox since they chose to ignore Obama’s eligibility. They are traitors to the nation on that issue. I don't even turn it on in a hotel when we travel. Why should we? There is Hulu now. I am sick of of there crumbs of conservatism, big helpings of liberalism, and their totally ignoring some very important conservative social issues. Also Shep and Bill “OReally” make me want to hurl.
