I bought Fair Trade coffee a couple times a few years ago but quickly decided it wasn’t worth it to me. Now I’m glad.

My first thought was that if the farmers are not doing well on coffee, they should make a priority of planting stuff that they can eat. Then I remembered that this isn’t the good ol’ USA we’re talking about; they don’t have much of a choice since they are not owners.
