They are my favorite flotation device after floatplanes. I have strapped one on the side and flown it back into the bush to go fishing where there ain’t no roads, just waterways and portages.

I like float planes, never been in one though.

Did lotsa fishing when I lived in the SF Bay Area. Cod out by the Farallon Islands, trolling in the Bay, Strippers and Cat fish on Franks Tract and Trout in the mountain streams.
I’ve lived in Oregon since 1990 and have never gone fishing, which is funny because there are plenty of places to fish.

Everyday spent fishing adds another day to our life.

I found one of these at the Goodwill store that works great.

For some rifles, the carry bag for a folding lawn chair will work well too. In fact, I can easily fit my Ruger 10/22 into my lawn chair bag along with the chair.

White House guard to Jack Benny: “What’s in the violin case, Mr. Benny?”

Benny, sarcastically: “A machine gun.”

Guard: “Oh, thank goodness. I was afraid it might be a violin.”
