Some media commentary on Sarah Palin continues to amuse me quite a bit.
There are those who love to talk about how irrelevant she is usually in the midst of a lengthy blog post or column that obsesses about something Palin recently said or tweeted.
There are those who continue to distort her record, despite the surplus her policies afforded Alaska and a list of accomplishments that includes substantial spending reductions, incentivizing and expanding drilling for oil and natural gas, investing in state savings, and a commitment to transparency, ethics reform, and tackling corruption.
And there are an array of tell-all books soon to come out that will attempt to discredit both her character and her record. They will try their hardest to reinforce pre-existing media-fed hype about who Palin is, what kind of a leader she was as governor, and what kind of a leader she could be for America. Some of the authors are ideologically driven. Others are driven by the hope that having the words Sarah Palin in their books titles will put money in their pockets.
I also saw a glimpse of the woman who terrifies some when I met her in person at the Long Island Associations February 2011 Annual Meeting and Luncheon. Theres absolutely nothing about her from the way she greets you to the tone of her exchanges that fits into the mold of conventional politician. I suppose that must be terribly frustrating to those who struggle so hard to stand out, but dont
because when it comes down to it, theyre not all that different from the rest.

A liberal Manhattan acquaintance of mine recently hit the nail on the head: The thing about Palin thats so scary is that she actually means what she says. She actually believes it. And shell do it. Shell make it happen.
(((ping)))
Palin/West 2012!
The article gets right to the point and ends. Shocking, in all the blahblah matrix of present day propaganda. Just like Palin at her best - direct, factual and to the point.
I look forward to everything Palin talks about, but more than anything, I want her to bring “justice”. I want political corruption to be severely dealt with.
I have never seen so many powerful people afraid of one person in my lifetime.
Really!;) And as of right now, she’s not running for ANYTHING!:)
Somebody has to say what needs to be said:
“No. The Government does NOT owe you a living”.
“No. We will NOT spend money we don’t have”.
And that’s just for starters;)
this is what scares both dems and repubs alike about sarah
Lots of reasons I want her to run but one of the biggest is to drive the media, the PDS’ers here, the left and the WH insane.
They’d get my vote!

Thanks Bigtigermike!!!
Never saw that pic. Just WOW!
Now if only you could get me to run. Come on, pull my finger! |
If you want off my ping list get over it!
Madame President....Now THAT is HISTORIC!
That would be genius if Palin gave a speech saying “Ask not what your country can do for you...”
The left would collectively have a head explosion festival.
