The one point that really hit home with me about this article is “Moderates and “independents” are typically less involved, are last minute deciders, and often apathetic until voting time. Attempting to ride this as your political base is a mistake often made by “smart” establishment elites.” The press has spent decades trying to convince the Republicans their “base” is thee squishy middle. The problem with that is we are a center right country. The squishy middle are those who don’t have a freaking clue about anything but want to appear like the smartest people in the room (cue BOR who is the poster boy). We want our leaders to have balls. Sara Palin is one of the few over the past few years who’s shown absolutely no fear. Don’t have a clue where Mitt or Newt’s balls are (maybe Hillary or Diane Sawyer have them) but they haven’t shown any.

Thanks for the ping, VR. A pretty good assessment of Sarah's power to draw crowds, get attention, raise money, all on a scale that'll be needed to defeat the Messiah.

I would like to see an early rally behind Sarah, the likes of which we've never seen before. I would like all of those seeking the nomination to withdraw and throw their support behind her- unprecedented and unquestioned. I would like Rove and Krauthammer to do likewise. And, I would love to see the faces on the left knowing come hell or high water, we're sending Sarah to Washington.

There's a reason for this: we need to defeat the worst President ever- period. George W. Bush was painted as the 'worst' via his "two wars", "unemployment", and "deficits" but we know these two-long-years into Zero's regime that Zero himself may have set the "worst President" bar so high it'll never be reached again, ever. Bush was no angel, but this 'organizer' is downright spooky as in, "I can't recognize my country anymore" spooky.

What is needed at this time is a fighter- to fight for America and defeat the communists who've infiltrated the 'little guy's party'. The "little guy" doesn't know just how devastating this President's policies will be on his future, so, in a way, we're going to have to fight for him too.

I'm not one to give advice to others on how to fight. But, when your opponent is on his back (as the Dems are due to this incredibly inept poseur calling the shots) it would be wise to pounce with everything you've got (united behind a fighter) to put him in a hold such that his only option is to tap-out.

If 2012 wasn't a battle over all the marbles, I wouldn't be so insistent on a strategy; efforts to crash America/capitalism have never been so bold and 'transparent' before, mostly incremental and 'sufferable'. That was yesterday, welcome to today- welcome to places like Wisconsin where legislators run and hide as a part of their duties and expect a pass.

The Left has demonstrated they are willing to 'burn the house down' to install their 'change'. And, they've lit a few fires to do just that (Obamacare, no drilling for oil, dumping dollars for dummies and friends, ain't no soldier-boy getting paid 'till every woman gets her fed-funded abortion and we all have access to some free Sesame Street/Lerher Report [same show, different puppet]).

Sad Story, the long and short of it: the Left thought this 'guy' would lead us from the wilderness/desert but have witnessed, as we have, that putting this teleprompter-reader behind the wheel has proven an unmitigated disaster. Two birds have been killed with one stone: first, being black will not, for a long time, be seen as a presidential resume enhancement. Second, Ivy League schools and candidates who prep for higher office from such, will be seen as being beyond their 'use by' date. Why dip from this well any longer when it could be shown how poisonous such graduates have been to our blueprint/constitution?

As a ballplayer, three strikes come to mind: FDR- strike one, LBJ- strike two, BHO- strike three. Let's take the field and put someone on the mound who can throw across the plate with confidence, speed, and the occasional slider when needed. That's Sarah Palin. Oh, and as a former pitcher myself, someone who has the guts to back-off anyone crowding the plate. That means throwing high and inside (at their head, if necessary) which Sarah has been doing for the last two years.

2012 is THE Series, folks. Bottom of the ninth. We've got a closer and we've seen their knees tremble before facing her in the batter's box. Put a call into the bull-pin. Let Sarah emerge wearing half-a-jacket and a glove then listen to the roar. And watch as knees turn to jello. Nine pitches later, fifty states' electoral votes later, the game is over. The dugout empties onto the field, celebrations ensue and credit goes to the team effort, where it should, because it was.

And yet, in true American fashion the game begins again a few months later. Eighty years of losing to a team accustomed to unearned runs seems daunting, but it shouldn't be, really. Fewer errors, better players and pitchers will see to it. "Let's Play Ball!"

agreed accept the part aboout wanting Rove and the establishment behind her. I think Palin’s greatest bonus is she can run against not just Obama but Bush too. If the roves of the world are fighting her in the primary than Gov Palin can call for a return of Reaganism instead of running on bush’s record.

the people have rejected bushism and ar ein the process of rejecting marxism. If Palin can make the case for a return to Reaganism than she wins.

that is why the PDSers attack enmass whenever Reagan and Palin are linked...
