Why Sarah Palin Was Chosen By John McCain? To Enable Washington To Launch A Four Year Smear Attack
March 2, 2011 | PRV

Posted on 03/23/2011 1:23:52 PM PDT by USSR Didnt Fall

Over the past couple of years people continue to scratch their heads on why Sarah Palin, a true Conservative was chosen by the Washington establishment insider John McCain as his running mate.

Sarah Palin was far and away the most popular Governor in America, as her approval ratings in Alaska approached the 80% range.

After working for the McCain/Palin ticket on the local level, I could see immediately that other than Palin and a few advisors the majority of the team was satisfied in handing the presidency over to a known radical.

Many in the McCain camp were more concerned with undermining and trashing Palin then keeping a known Marxist out of the White House.

The answer is clear to me that the socialist, Marxist and globalist chose Palin for the sole reason to begin a four year crusade to undermine her character and smear her to the point that she would become unelectable for higher office.

This is why the inside the beltway Republicans(Krauthammer), the same people who were so impressed with Obama's souring speeches at the same time sitting silent about his associations and to this day his destructive policies choose to launch continued ad hominem attacks against her.

At the same time the Bush administration handed Obama the keys to dismantling our capitalist system.

How dumb do they think we are?

The likes of Rove and the boys knew more about Obama than any Hannity watcher could ever know.

Yet we are made to believe by many on our side that Bush was protecting the free market by using TARP funds as a bridge loan for the next administration to begin taking over industry after industry in line with Marx's goal.

All you heard about was a seemless transition but nothing about how the past administration was putting up fire walls to a man who they knew was looking to further centralize power. No, they helped empower him.

In addition giving the treasury dictatorial powers in the name of stabilizing the economy. (Geithner, Kissinger, Obama, Bush Connection)

People have no concept that globalism, international bureaucracy and world socialism run both parties in Washington DC.

Predictably the Republican leadership has done very little to stop Obamacare and his agenda. In fact just as in Sarah Palin's case they continue to target the Conservative majority which handed them a historic victory this past November.

So yes, Sarah Palin was chosen by the Washington insiders, which opened the doors to chip away at her character for four years instead of two.

Obama, Bush,McCain and the internationlists could not allow a Conservative(Palin) to spoil their plans of global governance and revitalized focus on American sovereignty, religious faith, states rights and individualism.

Remember Henry Kissinger (NWO advocate) was the one that elevated Bush 41 to power in the late 70's and early 80's. Along with him you have the likes of Baker, Scowcroft,Gingrich, Ealgeburger, Powell, Rice and Geithner to name a few who were influenced or worked under Kissinger.

While people like myself wrongly defended Bush for 8 years, using a second grade mentality of if the enemy attacks(media) it must be because that politician is opposed to their ideology.

But clearly in this case, it was a tactic to get conservatives to stand by as Bush took the country further and further left redefining the parameters of right and left.

This is why Gingrich , Romney both Rockefeller Republicans (globalist) will most likely lay down to Obama just as McCain did if they are nominated by ill informed Republicans and Conservatives.

The mission for the Republican party is not to defeat Obama, his policies including Obamacare but to make sure that someone like Sarah Palin in no way disrupts this global transformation that has been the focus of the last 4 presidents and congressional leadership over that time.

Sarah Palin was chosen to tear her down which is why in the face of all the attacks McCain sat silent, and has come out on the face of a president that is intentionally destroying the country and said that he will not support a Republican candidate in 2012.

There you have it folks, people can laugh and ridicule Palin, but in the end America needs a person who fights for the American people not faceless bureaucrats that make up this global socialism that is on the verge of dismantling our economy.

If you want some straight talk, Obama, Clinton, Bush 41, Bush 43 are far more similiar than you would think.

I encourage you all to do your own research and you will see how someone like Sarah Palin is the main enemy to these administrations because she stands with the American people not with the interantional buraucracies that wish to bring America to her knees.

In the end we all lose if we don't see through the scam that is going on in Washington.

No offense, but when I read this thread, this comes to mind....

Arthur Jensen: You have meddled with the primal forces of nature, Mr. Beale, and I won't have it! Is that clear? You think you've merely stopped a business deal. That is not the case! The Arabs have taken billions of dollars out of this country, and now they must put it back! It is ebb and flow, tidal gravity! It is ecological balance! You are an old man who thinks in terms of nations and peoples. There are no nations. There are no peoples. There are no Russians. There are no Arabs. There are no third worlds. There is no West. There is only one holistic system of systems, one vast and immane, interwoven, interacting, multivariate, multinational dominion of dollars. Petro-dollars, electro-dollars, multi-dollars, reichmarks, rins, rubles, pounds, and shekels. It is the international system of currency which determines the totality of life on this planet. That is the natural order of things today. That is the atomic and subatomic and galactic structure of things today! And YOU have meddled with the primal forces of nature, and YOU... WILL... ATONE! Am I getting through to you, Mr. Beale? You get up on your little twenty-one inch screen and howl about America and democracy. There is no America. There is no democracy. There is only IBM, and ITT, and AT&T, and DuPont, Dow, Union Carbide, and Exxon. Those are the nations of the world today. What do you think the Russians talk about in their councils of state, Karl Marx? They get out their linear programming charts, statistical decision theories, minimax solutions, and compute the price-cost probabilities of their transactions and investments, just like we do. We no longer live in a world of nations and ideologies, Mr. Beale. The world is a college of corporations, inexorably determined by the immutable bylaws of business. The world is a business, Mr. Beale. It has been since man crawled out of the slime. And our children will live, Mr. Beale, to see that... perfect world... in which there's no war or famine, oppression or brutality. One vast and ecumenical holding company, for whom all men will work to serve a common profit, in which all men will hold a share of stock. All necessities provided, all anxieties tranquilized, all boredom amused. And I have chosen you, Mr. Beale, to preach this evangel.

I agree that there is little difference between the Repubs and the Dems. But if you are suggesting that Palin’s nomination was somehow the work of beltway politicians in order to further blur the line between the two parties....well, that is what I think is kinda silly.

Had Palin not resigned as Governor, she would be solid Presidential material. The personal litigation expense argument is weak. She could have set up a PayPal link on her website. As it turns out, she and Hillary look a lot alike. Neither could take the pressure and had to quit.

Why Sarah Palin Was Chosen By John McCain? To Enable Washington To Launch A Four Year Smear Attack
"Sarah Palin was chosen to tear her down" .... USSR Didnt Fall

...ahhhh, or she was chosen to fire up the GOP base and breathe life into a flagging campaign, split disappointed Hillary voters from the Dems and to add a dynamic (gender) element in the face of running againt the first mixed-race presidential nominee. .... americanophile

The Palinistas are really going over the deep end in an irrational orgy of self-delusion.

Let's see, if I had my shot at becoming President of the United States and fulfilling an ambition of many decades, would my first instinct be to pick a woman that hardly anybody outside of Alaska had heard of before so that, for the next four years, that unknown woman from Alaska, who I did not know from a hole in the ground, could be "torn down"?

Are the Palinistas on crack?

As you noted, americanophile, Palin was chosen because John McCain wanted to play Identity Politics.

John McCain told his staff, "Find me a VP running mate that is:

1.) A conservative in order to appease all those Conservatives who call me a RINO

2.) A woman so that I can throw the Gender Card at all those women that are upset that Hillary lost.

3.) Is a Governor so that we can claim that she has some 'executive experience', no matter how short the duration."

The three criteria yielded a single name:

Governor Sarah Palin, the Governor, for less than two years, of a State with half the population of San Diego, California. (You have to admit that, although a white male would be laughed off the stage with that meager amount of "executive experience", Affirmative Action Identity Politics candidates are held to much lower standards.)

Sarah Palin was then hastily announced as the VP pick with very little vetting. Soon after, it was realized that the most woefully uniformed poster on Free Republic in the summer of 2008 looked like a foreign affairs genius compared to her.

"Palin couldn't explain why North Korea and South Korea were separate nations. ..... Asked to identify the enemy that her son would be fighting in Iraq, she drew a blank. Later, on the plane, Palin said to her team: 'I wish I'd paid more attention to this stuff'."

In short, by playing the Identity Politics game, John McCain blundered into picking a pathetically unqualified Affirmative Action candidate that knew less about foreign affairs than Barack Obama did.

When Sarah Palin was still unknown to the voters, she got the benefit of the doubt. When her utter lack of qualifications became painfully apparent to the majority of voters, her popularity crashed and burned like the Hindenburg ..... except among her small group of fanatically loyal fans.

FOX News Poll (February 7-9, 2011)

Question 3: I am going to read you a list of names. Tell me if you think that person would make a good President or not.

Sarah Palin:

.................YES.........NO.......DK.....Never heard of

ALL...........23%.......72%.........4%.......1%

Dem ...........7%........87%........5%.......1%

Rep ...........40%.......56%.......3%.......1%

Ind ...........25%........69%.......3%.......1%

Your rebuttal, Wingy, is a non sequitur as it relates to the tin-foil hat conspiracy theory advocated by this thread.

It is claimed that Sarah Palin was picked by John McCain so that she could "then be torn down".

It has been pointed out that it is beyond ridiculous to claim that a total unknown was "picked" so that the total unknown could then be "torn down" for four years.

The point of this thread is as ludicrous as claiming that Conservatives "picked" unknown Bill Clinton as a Presidential nominee so that those same Conservatives could then spend years "tearing Bill Clinton down.".

That does not makes sense to anybody that does not have several screws loose.

It wasn't just foreign policy. I'm a guitar player by trade, and I could wipe the floor with her when it comes to knowledge of Supreme Court cases.

This post is great though. It shows just how off-their-meds these Palin groupies really are.

I freaking LOVE that movie. I love that scene—Ned Beatty at his best. And the “turn off your tv” speech by Howard Beale is another of my favorites—”This is mass madness you maniacs!”

It was to undermine the conservative movement which the Mccain and Bush people continue to do to this day.

All you detractors fail to understand what is on the line which is quite sad.

Only fools think that the enemy plays by the rules.

It's interesting that not one of you have come up with one coherent argument to dispute the points that were made.

The actions of the Bush, Mccain, theGOP leadership and inside the beltway republicans has been to undermine the will of the people which is for small government and individual liberties.

Keep mocking the ones willing to speak the truth, especially when many of you refuse to address the valid points I am bringing to light.

Too many of you accept the GOP excuse like we can't do anything or the dog ate my homework as this nation is headed for an orchestrated collapse. Look at the lack of action on Obamacare and I am the one with a tin foil hat? This strategy has been set up for over a 100 years yet no one will open their eyes and admit to the truth that the global bureaucracy runs America and is on the cusp of finishing us off. You people are way too gullible its quite scary. Have fun living in Oreilly land...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQ7LcplfkgY Maybe this will help some to understand the lengths that these people will go to take us down. We defeated communism and the USSR yea right. Listen to this warning which has come to light. Khrushchev said our grandchildren would live under communism in 1958 that is a direct prediction to the here and now. Cheers

Well genius if she wasn't a formidable candidate why the need to destroy her from the left and the right.

Why spend so much time pushing bs polls if she has no shot?

Answer is because they know should would wipe the floor with your messiah.

Interesting how I come with logic and you come with illogical smears with no substance.

Notice, everybody, how irrational people have absolutely no ability whatsoever to actually debate the substance of an argument.

All they can do is call you a name(*) and then say, "Oh, yeah! Well, whatever it is that you said goes for you too. Cheers .... "

(*) If they are irrational Left-wingers, they use the name "Fascist". If they are irrational Palin supporters, they use "Rove" or "PDS sufferer".

It was to undermine the conservative movement which the Mccain and Bush people continue to do to this day.

So your point is that an ambitious man like John McCain:

1.) Who had been seeking the Presidency of the United States for many years ....

2.) Who would have considered the Presidency as the crowning glory of his family tree ....

.... Shot his Presidential ambitions in the foot and picked a woman that very few people outside of Alaska had ever heard of before just to "undermine the conservative movement"?

Do you have the slightest clue how totally irrational and tin-foil-hat that thought process is?

Even if such irrationality was present in John McCain's brain, what is your point?

That Sarah Palin was such an obviously flawed candidate that picking that unknown woman would have "undermined the conservative movement"?

What’s more likely is that McCain picked her because he thought she would help him lose.

You see, McCain (like many ruling class strategists) is not a mental giant. No vision. He didn’t see Palin’s political strengths and thought she would be an easy target for the media, to make way for Obama. I’ll bet he was surprised when Palin gave him such a bump in the polls.

Right after that is when he pulled his little stunt in response to the market crash.

Given how Sarah Palin seems to have energized a much younger base of Republicans, I’m going to go with that as the reason Sarah Palin was selected.

Yep, I’m pretty damned certain that an aging McCain picked the attractive, young, energetic, charismatic governor because she was...well...young, attractive, energetic, and charismatic. Which not so coincidentally are all qualities that McCain himself lacked.

This really isn’t rocket science.

You left out the fact that she's also conservastive. If he hadn't picked a conservative as a running mate, many conservatives would have gone fishing Election Day, and McCain would have had no chance whatsoever of winning.

The person who wrote this is... well, literally crazy. The mental acrobatics required to come to this conclusion are of the sort that defy gravity.

Why would someone put Palin in the national spotlight for the sole purpose of... removing her from the national spotlight?

Sarah was chosen because conservatives hate McCain and would not vote for him without someone tried and true on the ticket. It was even discussed, and urged, over and over again on this very website prior to her actual selection.
