Hey, NPR: Fund your own lame liberal humor and leave my family alone
Michelle Malkin ^ | 3/21/11 | Michelle Malkin

If the obscure and has-been comedians who appear on National Public Radio want to mock conservatives and spread left-wing propaganda, they should do it on their own damned dime.

The government-sponsored radio conglomerate broadcasts a weekend show called “Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!” It leans heavily on laugh tracks to prop up the lame punchlines of the likes of liberal humorist Paula Poundstone and describes its purpose thusly: “Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me! is NPR’s weekly hour-long quiz program. Each week on the radio you can test your knowledge against some of the best and brightest in the news and entertainment world while figuring out what’s real news and what’s made up.”

The “best and brightest” include a Muslim comedian named Maz Jabrani, whom NPR has been promoting as “the face of Middle Eastern humor in America today.”

Judging from his latest bit performed on this weekend’s show, the face of Middle Eastern humor looks a lot like the face of your typical CAIR mouthpiece. Tea Party-bashers Ron Schiller and Vivian Schiller may be gone and the House may have defunded the public radio enterprise, but the conservatives=racist smear narrative is alive and well at NPR.

Here’s a transcript and here’s the audio:

You forgot the quotes. “humorist” is more accurate.

Seriously —> How do we stop bullying among children when they see the adults around them, e.g. NPR and the Democrats, in general, bullying anyone and everyone they disagree with?

“Wait, wiat” is a very poor copy of the MUCH funnier “News Quiz” on the BBC, where, although still liberal, the panelists are actually funny.

I know they are now calling themselves “Privately Funded”

Privately funded must mean that the Democrats tax even the lowest ranking members of the army to pay for NPR.

Poundstone became popular because she had the right credentials: she was a single, left/liberal woman which tends to describe practically every female comedian. And she is a lesbian. In fact, Poundstone writes a regular column for The Nation or Mother Jones I forget which one. That’s pretty far left. I’ve watched some of her shows in the eighties or nineties trying to figure out why she was supposed to be funny. One thing I’ve noticed is that a lot of the improvisational-type comedians are just not very funny. Poundstone is one of those.

It's time for the REAL Conservatives to step up to the plate.

If they can't even get rid of this miniscule rotten money pit then they have no balls whatsoever.

Until they start getting rid of these kind of programs don't expect them to tackle the big programs.

THEY'RE EFFING WIMPS, PERIOD!

Can you list the other 1,757,491 reasons so I can show them to my liberal "friends"? ;)

NPR liberal humor? When I first read this Garrison Keilor of “Prairie Home Companion” came to mind. He rips conservatives while promoting leftists every chance he gets.

Well if those pig dogs were Krugman, Alter, Klein, Klein, Emmanuel, geithner, Sunstein, Axelrod, Allah in fact be praised.

I am invoking the “I am a Jew I can say this” clause.

Far be it from me to challenge the “I am a Jew I can say this” clause. I wouldn’t go any where near that. To many Muslims, though, it’s not really a joke. Then again, there is very little about Islam that is funny.

I almost never laughed at Poundstone’s “comedy” even before I knew what a leftist freak she was. Back in the 90’s Rosie O’Donnell had an HBO special that actually WAS funny. maybe because it wasn’t overtly political. She really went after Woody Allen and O.J. I admit I laughed. Now, you couldn’t PAY me to watch either of these two. I guarantee it’s all Palin/Bush “jokes”. And uber-liberal Will Farrell? NOT funny in movies OR real life. And he’s a bad man. He consistently gets the most votes for being an asshole to his fans by Autograph magazine. O’Donnell says she doesn’t sign autographs, either.

Liberals, don't like to pay for anything, and they'd rather take it from others, but, legally, like through government funds, which is, of course, other people's money.

The liberals I know believe that there is unending wealth in the pockets of the rich and the big corporations, and that, the poor are entitled to that money, which to a great number of them, was attained illegally or "greedily" or at the expense of everybody that is not rich.

But,here, read for yourself how liberals feel about NPR and how it's the right thing to do with government money:

Internet killed the radio star: let NPR "go dark"

http://www.zdnet.com/blog/perlow/internet-killed-the-radio-star-let-npr-go-dark/16312?tag=mantle_skin;content

If you read through the posts, you'll find the liberal mindset to be predominant. I did my best to battle the stupidity. (my posts are as 'adornoe') That's a ZDNet (most posters are liberal) discussion.
