The Hawaii state legislature has abandoned plans to develop and sell for $100 a newly created document carrying the official seal of the state designed to convince an increasingly skeptical American public that Barack Obama actually was born in Hawaii.
There is no indication the Hawaii state legislature made any effort to locate Obama's long-form, hospital-generated birth certificate in the vault archives of the Hawaii Department of Health as part of its work.
But the bill, HB1116, died in the House Health Committee without a hearing, after the legislature missed a Friday deadline for the plan to advance to the House Finance Committee, a required step before the bill could move forward.
The explanation for dropping the bill – Hawaii's privacy laws, an objection Hawaii House Democrats did not consider an obstacle when the legislation was introduced last month.

That’s what Gov Neil Abercrombie says.
The HDOH has indirectly confirmed that Obama’s BC was amended in 2006.
The only way we’re gonna know what’s really there - and why these people have made the statements they did - is through a legal investigation. Which there should have been a long, long time ago, if we had any law enforcement in this country.
Abercrombie himself said it did not exist.
Easy to hide something that doesn’t exist.
I’ll bet you that what is being hidden is a record of the application for the short form certificate.

Hawaii can’t sell what it doesn’t have.
Apparently there is no controlling legal authority that is capable of enforcing the Constitution.
Or willing.
That graphic is exactly what the media is letting Abercrombie get away with. It’s unbelievable.
The Star Advertiser actually paraphrased Abercrombie’s statements about the “BC investigation” in a parenthetical statement rather than quoting him verbatim as they had done in the whole rest of the interview. They said he found “something” in the State Archive and wants to use that. Just by virtue of their not using his direct words, you know he told them exactly what he found and they didn’t want to say it because they knew it would be big trouble for Obama.
The article started back up with verbatim quotes when Abercrombie was saying there would be people who would make hay out of the situation in 2012, which is an admission that what he had just said he found would be big trouble for Obama. Yet the media made sure there was no quote that could be used, and what had been brought up was that there was something for Obama but the big, bad birthers wouldn’t consider it enough.
The whole thing showed how badly the media is covering for this whole fiasco. And once Mike Evans claimed he “misspoke” - hadn’t even claimed to speak to Abercrombie (which he clearly had) - the media buried the whole thing, sent it down the memory hole. Right in front of everybody. Anybody who was paying attention at all should know by now that there’s a big, media-aided cover-up going on in Hawaii.
That cartoon expresses it perfectly. That’s exactly what the media heard and then went on without even blinking. That tells us everything we need to know about the media.
This would be hilarious if it wasn’t such a serious issue affecting the entire country.
What birth certificate are they going to keep secret?
They one that doesn’t exist?
The one that the Governor can’t locate?
The one from Kenya?
Or the fake Hawaiian COLB that the Obamabots posted on the internet?
This is the United States of America.
We used to be a nation of laws and people prided themselves on their honor and honesty.
We were admired and respected the world over.
Now Obama and the other democrats who have risen to power have besmirched our nation’s honor and made us into a laughing stock.
The whole world knows Obama isn’t legally qualified to be sitting in the White House. Yet our own press and government leaders pretend there is nothing wrong with a man in that position who will not show his birth certificate or other valid identification documents.
Like his Sister has a COLB.
