TN plays football?
Man, that was fun. It doesn't get any better.
If everyone would just give a buck or two, it would help.
Thank you Jim.
What a game, good grief... I am drained...
WAR EAGLE
The entire nation that loves football is drained.
That was just an exceptional game to watch for the national championship.
I do have one question, what happened to these Mighty Ducks?
Was just a complete team effort from Auburn.
Congratulations to both teams. Will be remembered forever.
hehehe...
Cam is like that.
Toomers was great!
It was my pleasure to do that for you. Waaaaaaaaar Eagle!
I agree! Oregon, y’all played hard and clean. The game was never a runaway and y’all could have just as easily won. You never quit. You never conceded. Congratulations on a hard fought game.
I tried to wave to you. I was in between the tv trucks waving up a y’all. All by myself!!!! LOL!
So when do Auburn and TCU play for the real title?
Okay, I was poking the hornet's nest with a stick, just to see what would happen.
I'm convinced that Auburn is the best team in the country - they shouldn't have to jump through any more hoops. Off of styles, I always thought that TCU would have had a real shot at Oregon. The Horned Frogs have two great defensive minds in Gary Patterson and Dick Bumpas. They would have had a great scheme devised for the Ducks' offense and the speed on defense to pull it off. My only concern with TCU against Oregon would have been their smallish DL but given that they held their own with Wisconsin's OL (which is much bigger and better than Oregon's), I don't think it would have been a problem. Auburn, however, is a different story. Unlike the Ducks who sell out size to get speed, Auburn doesn't and so it has both size and speed.
The SEC run in these BCS title games is impressive. Seven wins and no losses with five different teams. Those guys play a different level of football down there.
“Then please go away and let the rest of us enjoy the game. I’m sure there’s a cooking or home improvement show on to keep you entertained.”
Sorry, Pal, but I have always enjoyed my New Years Day glut of awesome and meaningful college football, something that doesn’t exist anymore . . . Not sure what you’re watching, but it certainly isn’t premier football.
