Why do so many people conflate the ability to use a smooth voice to read words written by others with intelligence or, for that matter, intelligent goodness

I swear, the Obots really don't care WHAT Obama says or what it actually means; it's only the tone of voice that registers in their consciousness. The fact is, neither of these two have even half the intellectual capacity of my garbageman... We dress them up. Whether or not Obama is smart is questionable, given he will not release his school records. People usually hide things that are shameful. His performance to date does not suggest a huge intellect. Far from it.
