Being an Elite means NEVER "paying" any price whatsoever.
Both GOP and DEM elites cover the centrists' hide - that means the Kruathammers and Roves and the Dana Perinos do their thing with impunity.

Exactly right...and I don’t know why anyone would think this “comeback” is going to last past the breath with which it was spoken when this compromise compromises the reason the tax cuts needed to be made permanent.
Extending them for only two years does nothing to provide any stability family or business needs to plan their financial future, and adding to the spending via extending an already generous 99 weeks of unemployment is going to add to our already jeopardized credit rating.
He’s the Come Back Kid because CBSNBCABC says so.
Because as usual, the media is framing the debate. Oh, and as usual, the wimpy republicans are allowung him to take credit for what should have been their signature issue.
