Here’s a Sky News interview with an intelligent, well-spoken, brave young man named Tommy Robinson. He’s the leader of the upstart anti-Islamization 66,000-members-strong (by his estimate)English Defence League (EDL).

The EDL has become the center of controversy once again for accepting American Pastor Terry Jones’ request to go and speak at an EDL rally. Jones recently lit an international firestorm by setting aside a day at his church to burn copies of the Koran – an event he finally cancelled. Here are a few of Robinsons’ comments in response to the host’s questions, with my redaction of repeated phrases, “ahs” and “ums” from the presentation.
On why the EDL invited someone like Jones to speak:
“We didn’t invite Pastor Terry Jones. Terry Jones contacted us. He asked if he could come to an English Defence League rally. And he asked if he could give a speech, highlighting the evils of Islam. So we accepted. We believe in freedom of speech. We believe there are evils of Islam…”
On why Robinson couldn’t find anyone from England as a “kind of poster boy” to give the speech:
“None of our politicians have a backbone, do they. So, that’s why we’re having to fly people in (inaudible) to talk up for us. It’s only in our country that our politicians are not talking up for us against the struggle against Islam. We have been sold out and led to believe that Islam is a religion of peace. It’s not. It never has been. It never will be. And it’s time to make a stand against it”
On what Robinson’s vision is for England twenty years from now:
“Well, the vision for this country – twenty years down the line we will be over-run by Islam, because Muslims are breeding at four point four children. That’s what they’re having on average. We’re having one point three.
Now, they keep saying, we’re a minority, we’re a minority. But their communities are going to quadruple over the next twenty years. And that wouldn’t be a problem if they were integrating. If they weren’t being taught hatred from the age of four against every single one of us in their madrassa schools, it wouldn’t be a problem. But it’s a ticking time bomb. Unless we wake middle England up now to realizing what is coming to a town near you, in towns and cities like Luten, where I live, it’s a disaster waiting to happen. So, unless it stops and we wake people up, there’s going to be civil unrest across this whole country.”
On what Robinson would do if he ran the country:
“If I could pull the strings, I’d like to pull any Muslim that doesn’t swear allegiance to Queen and country. Anyone who goes against trying to undermine our country with Shariah law. Get rid of all the Shariah law courts. Stop all Islamic immigration into this country. And deal with terrorists, and Muslim extremists the way they should be dealt with. Deport them.”
Yup. And it’s all coming here to the United States in a city near you, if we do not stop the same ongoing mass Muslim immigration into our nation. What say you, now, Dearborn?
The scum news media filled with Saudi money are out to attack ANYONE who stands up to Islam.
BTW - ALL 6 American TV networks have close connections with Prince Al Waleed and Saudi Arabia. The people who finance Al Qeada to kill American soldiers and Americans.

Really... I wish you would stop saying it. Yer drivin a lot of us nuts with this.
Al Waleed who is the King who is Saudi Arabia has major positions in Fox/News Corp., Disney/ABC and TW/CNN. They do multi billion deals with GE aka NBC/CNBC/MCNBC/Universal which Comcast is taking a position in.
He helped Sumner Redstone aka Viacom/CBS in deals in Germany and other parts of the world and insures access to the Islamic world. He is instrucmental in the 911 Victory Mosque which Bloomberg pushed through to insure access to all islamic countries for financial data, financial news and TV.
So yes all 6 US TV networks which control the majority of the cable and sat TV channels.
And yes these are the people financing Al Qeada and the killing of American boys in Iraq and Afghanistan. The ugly ugly truth.
And if anyone thinks I am wrong or anti American eff U. It is all out there if you read or look for it. I support our troops not GE or some corporation selling us out to stay on Islamic satellites to beam to 1.7 billion islamic viewers with trillions in spendable assets. Understand the media business, capital and satellite access before you criticize reality.
Geert Wilders, the EDL, the late Pim Fortyn and others get it. This media is selling you and your kids out.
Terry Jones is a stupid douchebag. Why is it morons like him get press as some sort of eminent critic of Islam, while Robert Spencer and Daniel Pipes toil in near obscurity?
It’s a good question.
The answer is not an appealing one, but it happens to be true. He’s a git, but he’s the ‘top Muslim critic’ - in the eyes of the Media at any rate - because he threatened to set fire to a book when no-one else would.
Islam is a vile, barbaric, gutter religion for a vile, barbaric, gutter people. It needs to be wiped off the face of the earth.
I dunno, montag. I’ve read two of Spencer’s books, myself. He’s a darn good authority on Islam. Pipes I’ve read a few times. He’s an excellent writer, too. I don’t think they’re obscure at all.
