Ozzie Guillen of the White Sox once said, "You are going to take batting practice and the rats look bigger than a pig out there. You want to take a look?I think the rats out there are lifting weights," of the conditions at Wrigley Field.

“What’s your address sir?” - Radio Shack employee
“1061 W. Addison Chicago, IL 60609” - me

The same Dems that want to raise taxes on those with incomes over $250K want to subsidize the millionaires that play baseball for a living.

Question: Why haven't they maintained the facility?

Answer: Because if they could let it run down enough, then they could appeal to the taxpayers to fund a new facility.

Maybe the could teach the rats how to play baseball.

They could also try to get slots like Arlington and Hawthorne race tracks

The Cubs are one of the wealthiest teams(WGN) playing MLB and don’t spend much on stadium upkeep because Wrigley is the Minnie Pearl of major league stadiums.

Not a lot on the looks, not the most talented(club) but the stadium has plenty of personality.

You have it. I expected to go the ballpark in Arlington alot after I retired. But I don’t like it. The good seats are all taken by the fatcats; the parking costs an arm and a leg, and of course Arlington has absolutely no public transportation.
