The thing is, who cares if it is good for you or bad for you? If I want to eat fatty foods or drink sugary drinks, isn’t that “my body, my choice”? They try to take away sugar, salt, eggs, etc and that is supposed to be OK?

PS: How many of you think the taste of McDonald’s fries fell off after they went transfat free. I miss the old days of them. On the ther hand, I LOVE that the last two summers PEPSI came out with PEPSI throwback “made with REAL sugar”

is this not a bill of attainder?

I was wondering that as well. McDonald's in certainly the most prolific at the practice, but other fast food joints give trinkets away. Movie cups, loyalty games.

Why not make coupons illegal too? They are designed to influence buying behavior.

Good call! This overlooked freedom has also been debated in the defunding of ACORN last year and again in the Terry Schiavo murder.

I remember when San Francisco banned fast-food chains. The City protected the many restaurants and their union waitresses. They banned McDonald’s and others until the early 1970s.

“My Body, My Choice” only applies when you are killing that unwanted ‘growth’. And for the “kids can’t choose, so we must protect them” folks, the unborn baby isn’t choosing, either.

I see this as a giant size plus. Any law that may keep innocent kids safe and out of that amoral, disease ridden city is ok in my book

And bathhouses.

They’ve got to have their bathhouses.

"Liberalism is truly a mental disease. "

It has now been proved that Liberalism is a genetic trait, which I contend must be inherited. That's why they are concentrated in the SF coastal and SF to Sacrament corridor - the are BREEDING there.

I’m guessing that the San Francisco Board of Overlords would be fine with McDonald’s replacing the toy with a HamBurgler Condom.
