So what’s the conspiracy of the day now... Obama blew it up, or ordered it blown up?

Folks seem to forget this government is the same gov that couldn’t break into a hotel room sucessfully and keep it secret.

Not the 1st to speculate about this.
Not that I think the rat bastard in the White House or his bosses would do such a thing.

Well, I believe there was a government inspector aboard each one of those things the day before the explosion.

I’m not one to jump on conspiracy theory bandwagons, but it is legitimate to wonder if terrorism is involved. No, I don’t believe the Obama administration is involved in these incidents, but certainly am open to the possibility that eco terrorists sabotaged these rigs.

Well, you have a point about 0bama, but who stands to benefit from Cap ‘n Trade or some such scheme, or from shutting down US oil production?

Well, I believe there was a government inspector aboard each one of those things the day before the explosion.

He flew out in a black helicopter, with no lights.

His black business suit, white shirt, tie, and sunglasses were curious, but no one said anything.

His name was Smith. John Smith.

Someone said he arrived with a briefcase, but no one could recall seeing him with it when he left.

No one knew for sure what the umbrella was for, either.

I thought it was interesting that a union spokesman was claiming right after this accident that industry and government were not spending enough money on worker safety. There are many possibilities of “evil-doers” in this world who could have had an interest in disturbing US oil production. However, if one is going to be conspiratorial, then the unions also need to be investigated.

In today’s upside down world it would be foolish NOT to consider the possibility that these ‘accidents’ were not accidents at all. I want the people charged with keeping me and my family safe considering ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that might, even remotely, be a threat to us. And certainly the interruption of our energy supplies would be very high on any list of potential weapons by our enemies.

Few direct physical attacks could do the harm that stopping or seriously slowing the flow of oil and natural gas to an energy hungry America would do.

What about North Korean mini-subs firing stealth torpedos? Do they know if the explosion initiated under water?

And the very next day a mysterious explosion occurred on a production platform in the Gulf south of Louisiana.

Wrong Scottie. It was a fire not an explosion....

Shoot why not such a conspiracy theory?

A "conspiracy theory" doesn't have to be "real," that's why it is a "theory." Global Warming wasn't "real" but it ate up the news cycle and was the perfect distraction for the passage of Socialized Medicine. Let 'em start wasting time and energy on this latest conspiracy theory, some folks will be dumb enough to believe it and vote against the Dems because of it. If we were talking about voters being "logical rocket scientists" we wouldn't have Øbama as "Present."

We are far too "honest and logical" going after these people ... we need to be throwing the kitchen sink at them, bent spoons and all. Any time there is a hint of a conspiracy, (and there certainly is enough for a "hint" here), we should take a deep breath, pause and look off into space with feeling. We should then state that we are "deeply concerned" and after another meaningful pause begin "asking for investigations" to find out who is "financing the explosions."

For instance: Of course Øbama didn't blow up the rigs, he was playing golf at the time, but if he didn't do it, then who did?

Can't you just see somebody like Ed Shultz saying this? We've seen less credible BS from folks like him! Chrissy? Obermann?

It's the same stuff we have to answer to almost daily! Go for it! As for conspiracy theories, this administration is target rich!

Compare the number of USN ships having explosions with the number of oil rigs having explosions.

And remember that Navy ships usually have on board lots of things that go boom.

>>who stands to benefit from Cap ‘n Trade or some such scheme, or from shutting down US oil production?<<

Look into who owns the carbon exchange and the software to track the credits and you will know.

“Scottie” did not write that article; I did.

The men who were actually on the platform reported an EXPLOSION. Now, if the spokesmouth for Mariner, who was not on the platform at the time, wants to come out and contradict the men who were on the scene, I guess you can believe him if you want. I’ll take the word of the guys who witnessed it.

An explosion of some sorts maybe but not and explosion of a well blow out like occurred on Deepwater Horizon. The crew was doing some sandblasting/painting or some type maintenance work and potentially something they did caused the fire. We don’t know yet but lots of specualtion abounds from all. Hopefully we’ll know at some point.
