Oh, dear, dear, resty,

Here is what you’ve called me in just the last few
posts:

“demigods like your ilk
“move the bar to fit your agenda your ilk does it all the time!
“AMPU you are so myopic!
“you think your petootie don’t stink!
“so uppidy
“No wonder you can not find the good in others...
“you are a Bigot
“short-sighted...

You forgot “hitler!”, “antichrist!” and “left wing liberal
slime!”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Please take a brief moment and wipe the spit off your
computer monitor and lips and let’s continue.
All of that focus on attacking me screams that you have
no valid argument to support your assertions. No facts,
no evidence. If you do, you’ve not shown it yet, except
a quote by the Dali Lama, which is also a false claim,
as I’ve already demonstrated.
May I take you back to that assertion you made?
You implored everyone to unify despite any differences -
in fact despite differences. I explained carefully why
your desire was not going to happen.
Here is the link: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/bloggers/2583119/posts?page=104#104
In return, bereft of facts, logic or evidence of any kind,
you satisfied yourself with attacking me personally - which
may make you feel better in some way - but still does not
prove your point. In fact, it is evidence that you have no
basis for your assertions in fact.
Still, I’m not offended. I see the problem you face
and I’m sympathetic to your calls for unity - though
I do not consider your calls objective - as I originally
told you.
If you find any supporting materials for your assertion,
I’d truly like to see them.
I don’t find emotional rants persuasive in argumentation.
Best,
ampu
“This is about looking for the good in others and building on upon that!”
Can you direct me to the post you made in which you
were looking for the good in me?
I missed it.
best,
ampu
Someday if you are still alive and should you knock on Zion door for refuge I would first make you eat crow for all your efforts trying to annihilate the Lord’s work aka will...
LOL...mormonism in a nutshell...no wonder the mormon PR machine spends millions of dollars trying to convince the world that mormons are normal when they have examples like you whose words are seen by thousands.
Mormon leaders have launched an expansive ad campaign in some battleground states designed to rebrand the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as "normal," igniting speculation that the church is laying the groundwork for Mitt Romney to re-emerge next year for another presidential bid without an anti-Mormon stigma.
The new ads feature young, active and diverse Mormons talking about their jobs, their families and different passions, like surfing, skateboarding or motorcycles. At the end of each ad, they declare their faith.
-SNIP-
"Farah said the campaign was an outgrowth of research that began about two years ago that showed long-held myths about Mormons were dispelled when other Americans met them."
Farah better hope they don't meet someone like you!
I betcha none of those "normal" folks are actually SAYING "Someday if you are still alive and should you knock on Zion door for refuge I would first make you eat crow for all your efforts trying to annihilate the Lord’s work aka will..." I just wonder how many of them THINK it the way you do!
Can’t doing anything when one uses the tools of the opposing team to discuss differences.
It would be like trying to look for the good in an opposing force.
One is either striving to do the Lord will or they will walk contrary.
It is up to you not me who counsel you choose to use.
As for me I follow the God of Love and in His instruction there is no room for how you demean another faith.
Should you someday use the Golden Rule the door is open!
“As for me I follow the God of Love”
Yea. As a mormon, which god are you referring to?
At least, out of the 4 Earth Gods (minimum) that mormons
believe in, which of those do you mean? Which is the God
of Love?
“Should you someday use the Golden Rule the door is open!”
I would reflect back to you that you haven’t approached
that standard in any of your posts on this thread :-),
while I’ve spoken respectfully and patiently to you.
I’ll take it that you, again, have no response that
uses fact or evidence to support your assertions. If you
do, I’d like to see it.
Best,
ampu
There are days doing the dance with you hateful bunch bring those feelings out in me!
but I know the Lord would not take to kindly to that attitude but my feeling towards antis is small compared to all of the things that have been said about us and this is all you can come up with is bad attitude LOL
Your problem is more than bad attitude sister!
Remember that part in the Lord’s Prayer
Thy will (work) be done on earth as it tis in Heaven oh Lord
24/7 that is all you handful anti Mormons tried to do is to hinder the Lord’s will while the rest of mainstream religion strives to do their best!
The Lord created all of the people on earth and in each they have a portion of His truth even if history in their land has been edit, distorted or omitted.
The Prophet Joseph Smith taught that "God himself, finding he was in the midst of spirits and glory, because he was more intelligent, saw proper to institute laws whereby the rest [of the intelligences] could have a privilege to advance like himself" (TPJS, p. 354). "His plan included sending his sons and daughters to earth (the second estate), to obtain a body of flesh and bones and learn by experience through earthly vicissitudes, with no memory of the first estate and with the agency to fail or succeed."
In a Council in Heaven to preview earth life, the Lord called before him his spirit children and presented the Plan of Salvation by which they would come to this earth, partake of mortal life with physical bodies, pass through a probation in mortality, and progress to a higher exaltation. The matter was discussed as to how, and upon what principle, the salvation, exaltation, and eternal glory of God's sons and daughters would be brought about (cf. DS 1:58).
The Firstborn of God volunteered to implement the Plan of Salvation (Abr. 3:27). Lucifer, who was also a son of the Father, came forward with a counterproposal: "Behold, send me, I will be thy Son, and I will redeem all mankind, that not one soul shall be lost and surely I will do it; wherefore, give me thine honor" (Moses 4:1). Already of exalted status, Lucifer sought to aggrandize himself without regard to the rights and agency of others, seeking to destroy the agency of man (JC, p. 7-8). The Father said, "I will send the first" (Abr. 3:27).
This decision led the hosts of heaven to take sides, and a third part rose in rebellion and, with Lucifer, were cast out of heaven. "They were denied the privilege of being born into this world and receiving mortal bodies…. The Lord cast them out into the earth, where they became the tempters of mankind" (DS 1:65; cf. Jude 1:6).
The short of it?
Beck called Wilders a fascist.
If Wilders is a fascist then so are the vast majority of FReepers.
Oddly enough Beck spoke plenty about islam back on his old show on CNN of all channels. Some of those old clips are quite entertaining. I went to great lengths to catch his show back then.
His new thing on fox just freaks me out for some reason. Probably just a European thing.
Cheers.
