Dems Choosing Clinton Over Obama

A year ago former President Bill Clinton was sent to talk US Representative Joe Sestak (D-Pennsylvania) out of challenging Senator Arlen Specter (D-Pennsylvania) in the Democratic primary. Now after refusing the offer of an unpaid advisory job in the Obama administration in exchange for dropping out of the race and defeating Senator Specter in that primary, Mr. Clinton will appear at a Sestak rally next week.

But there's more to this story than the hypocritical endorsement by Mr. Clinton of a candidate who, at the request of the Obama administration, he tried to bribe away from running at all. There's the fact that Democratic candidates are opting for the support of and visits from a former president who has been out of office for a decade over the current Campaigner-In-Chief.

I believe that the Clintons are hoping for a massacre in November.

“I believe that the Clintons are hoping for a massacre in November.”

I never imagined that I would be in agreement with either Clinton on any political issue, but I am in 100% agreement on this, LOL

So what happened, did I change or did the Clintons change?

If a conservative landslide comes to pass in November 2010, let’s hope, nay, let’s pray that it does not result in Hildebeest replacing the anointed one on the Nov 2012 ballot. With the electorate having already demonstrated its idiocy, she would have a better chance of winning than 0-bummer and, if elected, would continue most if not all of his onerous policies and already-signed legislation.

I think you're right, and I also think they're doing more than hoping for it. Watch for the media who were so disgustingly adoring in '08 to start to ask 0bama "hard" questions that - mirabile dictu! - will favor the positions of She Who Must Not Be named. Carville and Begala will be handing out press passes like World Series tickets, but that'll be pure accident...

I agree, In fact, I think they are likely helping to orchestrate it.
