Scott Brown: ‘the Man with the Truck’ turned into ‘the Man with the Hammer and Sickle’

Scott Brown was the Man with the truck during his senatorial campaign. Today he assisted President Obama in the sweeping overhaul of the American financial system. The least we can say he broke his promise for no new taxes that will cripple the economy. The truth is the Gov now will call the shots on Wall Street. Do you think your money is safer now?

The Rock Star of the tea party movement is a star no more. He is a poster boy again, but this time it is not for Cosmo, but for the Obama agenda. Remember how the President told you: everybody can have a truck. Unfortunately Obama guessed correctly: Scott Brown turned from the Man with the Truck into the Man with the Seat. After campaigning against the Stimulus Package the Man with the Truck voted for the Stimulus II (renamed as the Jobs Bill). Stimulus the Sequel worked as well as the original monster – about the only jobs created were the temporary government Census jobs. The folks in Massachusetts were hoping Brown will join the bipartisan opposition on reckless spending, not the bipartisan fringe that sprinkles goody bags filled with tax-payer money from hot air balloons.

The volunteers that gave their time to the Senator’s campaign were probably glued to the TV waiting for Scott Brown to step-up ... just show up and say some old rusty punch lines from the campaign trail – to confirm his commitment. Instead the supporters observed how the Man with the New Senate Seat lost his spine somewhere in the Capitol.

It is not something new. It happens to all of them – the politicians. They all do it: ride the wave and then take a shelter at the Washington DC Oasis for cowards in flip-flops.

Never liked him and said so on FR.
Beware of anyone who so cynically marketed himself as
THE FORTY FIRST VOTE, the ONLY one who could stop ObamaCare, and beware of unseasoned supporters who got stars in their eyes and believed him.
As we will all remember now, he was NOT the 41st vote.

It’s obvious now he doesn’t read much and is just another RINO progressive. Sigh ... Can we get a refund?

The thread I posted about RINO Brown got me called every name in the book. I guess even some Conservatives can’t handle the truth?

This may fly in Massachusetts, but he received a lot of donations from people around the country - he should refund those.

He voted with the Dems for everything important - Stimulus II, unemployment benefits, financial reform is just the last drop in the glass of progressivism Scott Brown is full of.

You were right. He’s just another RINO. Unfortunately, I’ll admit to donating to this fraud’s campaign but, as I told his office, its the last dime they’ll see from me.

Scott Brown should serve as an object lesson to all of us who are Conservatives and Tea Partiers NOT to believe every new face that comes along claiming to speak for us and represent our values. Brown didn’t. Still — he’s NOT Ted Kennedy. AND, he WON because the TEA PARTY backed him. SO, when his partial term is FINISHED, the TEA PARTY ought to have had PLENTY of time to find a candidate they’ve veted to RUN AGAINST him in the primary. :-)

Brown has no principles ... That’s what we discovered.

You cannot rely on a person with no core principles. Personally he won’t get another dime from me.

“Scott Brown is a good person with a good family and has served in the military and has some brains”

John Kerry, also from Massachusetts, also served in the military and admittedly has some brains but that dosen’t mean we should have voted for him. I know several people who will never donate to Brown again.

You cannot count on individuals. People have personal interests that override principles. If we learn that conservative heros are rarer than hen’s teeth, we will spend a lot less time gritting our own teeth and wailing in disappointment. If we ever again get a hero in office like Reagan we will have lived in as close to a perfect world as has existed since the last of the Founders.

Gave to him, expected something like this to happen. I’m still glad he won because it is one vote closer to a GOP majority. A GOP senate majority means this never gets out of committee.
