Sticking to the game plan of 'never let a serious crisis go to waste,' Barack Obama intends to use the Gulf oil crisis as an excuse to push for his so-called 'cap-and-trade' tax-on-energy scheme in order to supposedly 'reduce our dependence on oil and fossil fuels.'
Part of that game plan is to lie about the costs to average Americans. The scheme is nothing more than energy snakeoil tomfoolery.
The Leftwing extremist proponents of this taxpayer-robbing trickery, such as Henry Waxman, D-California, and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-California, grossly underestimate the costs of the plan, just as they have with ObamaCare, the stimulus bill, and the Wall Street Bailout.
They have lied about the costs of every proposal thus far. Why should we believe them now?
Waxman and the Democrats in Congress insist that the new cap-and-trade energy tax bill will cost citizens a mere $175 bucks per year.
Time for a serious fact-check.

A Republican caller on C-Span complained to the moderator this morning that their “booker” for the shows was having “progressives” for 3 days in a row (without opposing viewpoints, of course)! Today some Progressive Organization on about the Health Care Bill.
Get ready in the next few months for the Progressive agenda to be pushed down our throats.
Somehow we’ve got to stall this horrific bill until Jan 011.

MSNBC/CNN will skip post-speech analysis, instead choosing to air re-runs of “Lock-up” and “Black in America XX,” respectively.
On a slightly different subject, Crap & Tax will drive pensioners on fixed incomes into poverty. Great News for the dems - another dependant constituency which will grow and grow and grow!

I called my Senators yesterday and raised hell about this. We need to impeach Obama, try him for treason and ship his sorry ass to Gitmo to rot with his muslim buddies.
And don’t be surprised for calls to nationalize the oil industry.
And even if it were only that, what would each citizen get in return for the investment?
