As often happens when government officials try to cover up their own wrong doing, the more they dodge and weave and lie the worse the situation becomes for them. In the case of the Sestak issue, the implausible explanation given by the Obama White House after over three months of stonewalling is starting to unravel in the face of just a few days of scrutiny.

Twoomey needs to emphasise the fact that Sestak is a United States Naval Academy graduate to took an oath of honor not to lie, cheat or steal-or tolerate those who do.

You got the first part of the oath right; but there’s no toleration clause. They differ from WP and USAFA in this.

There’s an old story at USAFA (no names). During an early triple-e/football scandal, one otherwise innocent member of the football team, a jr./second classman inadvertently learned about widespread athlete cheating. He resigned because he couldn’t report the cheaters. My kids think of him as a hero because they still can’t quite grasp the meaning of the code. How can you betray your FRIENDS? No question that it’s tough, but being tough is part of the lesson.
The only way to get them is for Sleestack to roll over.
