Great virtual video!

PATRICK HENRY, first and sixth post-colonial Governor of Virginia, gave his famous and fiery speech before the Virginia Convention on March 23, 1775 imploring his fellow Americans to take up arms against the British colonialists that ended in the immortal lines "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death!"

“Mr. President, it is natural to man to indulge in the illusions of hope. We are apt to shut our eyes against a painful truth, and listen to the song of that siren till she transforms us into beasts.” - Patrick Henry

That is so well done. A little weird to see, but excellent.

PS. I just finished listening to it, and the hairs rose on my arms. The actor that did the voice is excellent.

His June 5th, 1787 speech is also a classic. Not as well known, but just as important.

Yeah, a real classic.

Henry said, “The rights of conscience, trial by jury, liberty of the press, all your immunities and franchises, all pretensions to human rights and privileges, are rendered insecure, if not lost, by this change, so loudly talked of by some, and inconsiderately by others.”

Too bad Henry went over the top. He lost a lot of respect with his rants.

It’s right up there with Shakespeare. It’s even better though, because it happened in real life, not in a play.
