Iron Man 2, arguably one of the most anticipated movies of the summer, opens next week. And with its opening, the summer blockbuster season starts in earnest. And I was so excited, I took a relatively long trip to see this movie early.

And what a way to start off the movie season.

I like your site on the web but could not find the movie review. I hope you liked it because I sure intend to see it. We enjoyed the first one, immensely. Although, I cannot, for the life of me, remember why. LOL!

My website crashed when I put the review up...amazing enough.

It is up and running now.

You might want to do a spell check before posting your movie review.

“Gwyneth Paltrow as Pepper Potts is interesting, mainly because she is more comic relief than a series character.”

It’s a series situation! LOL! Next thing I am going to see is the word, “stuned” in your review! Love it!

Someone told me that Robert Downey Jr. is a Republican. Anyone know if it is true?

Someone told me that Robert Downey Jr. is a Republican. Anyone know if it is true?

Because of your question, I read Downey's Wiki entry, and buried at the very bottom, after all of his documented drug convictions (interesting read, actually,) was this:

Downey has indicated that his time in prison changed his political point of view somewhat, saying: “I have a really interesting political point of view, and it’s not always something I say too loud at dinner tables here, but you can’t go from a $2,000-a-night suite at La Mirage to a penitentiary and really understand it and come out a liberal. You can’t. I wouldn’t wish that experience on anyone else, but it was very, very, very educational for me and has informed my proclivities and politics ever since.”[91] In a 2007 interview with W magazine Downey showed the journalist a photograph of himself and his wife with President George W. Bush.[90]

It’s getting really tiresome to see bloggers spamming FR looking for hits on worthless blogs. The mods should terminate these kinds of threads with extreme prejudice.

Yeah, it is tiresome to have to listen to other people’s free speech...that is the point.

There’s a blog section on FR. They can exercise their free speech privileges there.

I took a relatively long trip to see this movie early.

Did you go to Russia or just watch an internet Russian version online of the movie?

'cause that's all that's out right now....unless you time traveled to the 7th

Don't watch 'I love you Phillip Morris' - it's not out yet either and is 'brokeback mountain' uber-strange - with Jim carrey and ewan mcgregor kissing - ewww.

“We enjoyed the first one, immensely. Although, I cannot, for the life of me, remember why. LOL!”

LOL! Our family actually watched this movie two days in a row, well one person hadn’t seen it yet and the rest of us all said: yeah, let’s watch Ironman again.

And I enjoyed it very much both times and I am not a repeat watcher at all.

Robert Downey, Jr. is a very charming actor and it was a well paced movie. The issue of pacing is very important I think.

I liked the first transformers movie, but the second one was just like being assaulted from the opening scene onward. Rarely have I felt so exhausted after being “entertained” for 2 hours.

Let me boost “District 9” here, that was a very good movie. It’s rather like a mash-up of ET and Spinal Tap and some other movies.

I’m glad our reviewer liked Ironman 2, I’m going to try and convince hubby to actually go see it at the theatre!

appreciate your threads/comments. I too look forward to IronMan. The previews looked great. I am a movie addict, admitted. There are some great things to see coming up & the past few months has had some good ones also.
