No matter what happens, B.O. and the state-run media will use any excuse they have to paint themselves as the heroes.

Absolutely. It is the Liberal way.

More like we will go bankrupt and implode. The economy is dead until he is out of office. The GOP House could Defund ObamaCare. If the GOP has some real guts that can ask him for his birth certificate.

I agree. If I were the calculating bastage that BHO and the progressives are I’d make sure to have a house and senate held by republicans in 2010 and 2012. That way, when the social security, medicare and all the unfunded liabilities really start to weigh on the economy, they have a big finger to point at conservatives who would be conveniently in office to be the public faces of the collapse.

scum floats to the top of the pond in politics.

Sorry, I don’t thinks so.
It doesn’t matter if the Republicans win. He will have broken our Health Care System to improve it and it will still be broken. We have to depend on the courts to stop the momentum.

He is conducting a Razzle Dazzle full court press to keep us off balance. He threw in the free college education plan at the same time to spend another trillion dollars. I’m sure he will follow up with with Cap & Trade and the other two bills as fast as he can before the Supreme Court gets the Health Bill. He is not worried about the courts striking down the ability to make everyone buy insurance because, with the law passed, he will only have to raise taxes.

I am afraid he is spending so much that it may collapse our economy, and unfortunately, that would not bother him that much either. When he talks about playing on a level playing field, he really means playing on a flattened field. It’s easier to redistribute the material wealth when the monitary wealth is meaningless. Otherwise, he is just shaking the ladder of success to create some more openings and let more of his supporters get on the lower rungs.

Obama is to the rebuilding of Amarica as World War II was to the rebuilding of Europe.

The only counter moves we can do, other than speeding the court process is to press have him prove his natural citizenship and perhaps start recall petitions on all the legislatores, to give them some make work.

We should also press (although time does not permit) to require political parties to certify their candidates qualifications for office, under penalty losing tax deductions for donations. The Democrats may be challenged while Obama is in office by, “what have you got to lose if he’s ok”?

Consider how the economy roared after the 1994 Republican takeover of congress. This helped Clinton win a 2nd term. Same thing can happen for brack obama.

Clinton went along with the Contract with America (mostly due to his pathological need to be liked by everyone). Obama doesn’t really care who likes him (except for Bill Ayres or George Soros) so any economic recovery from having a Republican Congress for him to run on is a pipe dream at best.

With health reform they kept saying to the Republicans, “why didn’t YOU do something about it then when you had the power?” The same can be said to them, they had full power for two years.

Who are you kidding?

obama is going to get blamed for everything in 2012. Bush got blamed for everything in 2008 and he didn’t control both houses of congress. The man at the top is the one that gets blamed.

You are right. It is likely that the Dems hold on to the Senate.

There are so many dirty deeds that have gone on, and Pelosi/Reid are protecting BO’s backside. With them gone from their leadership positions, the ethics panel can go to work and expose these rats.

I think you picked a good screen name. LOL

But, seriously, the only good (for Obama) that comes with a GOP takeover of Congress is that he’ll have someone to blame for his failures when he runs for re-election in 2012. If he’s the closet Stalin that I think he is, I think he’d rather push through his “reforms” by any means necessary rather than have them be postponed by a Republican Congress blocking his path.

He’s never shown any tolerance for working with the opposition.

Interesting theory .. but knowing how these people think .. losing is not in their vocabulary.

They only want power and having 60 votes and being able to run circles around the repubs (they think), is a dream come true.

While I really think Obama would prefer to have an even more solid dem house and senate, with the repubs in charge, he can veto everything they do .. and unless the repubs get enough seats in the House and Senate, they will not have the votes to overpower Obama’s veto.

During the 2012 presidential campaign, Obama would love to go from campaign stop to campaign stop and shout the words, “This do-nothing Republican Congress.”

He would love to blame a Republican Congress for all his failings as president, of which there are many.

Have to disagree, especially regarding the Senate. It would destroy his hopes of filling the courts with his radical judicial picks.

I think this is a non issue. By all means, GOP must win congress in 2010 and stall Obama’s radical agenda. No matter who wins in November, democrats and their willing media are not going to let up on demonizing and scapegoating GOP. During Bush presidency, Dems controlled both houses 6 out of 8 years, and they blamed it all on Bush. Currently, Dems control all branches of government, and they are still demonizing and scapegoating GOP. Even if GOP does not win in November, Dems will be blaming GOP for Obama’s failure. Not taking personal responsibility and scapegoating accountability are hallmark of liberal’s modus operandi. As long as conservatives do not compromise their principles in the name of bi-partisanship or political expediency, they can win 2010 as well as 2012.

I agree, the only way for Obama to keep from being a one term wonder is to lose one or both houses in November. But even that might not be enough now.

I think bo’s plan is do as much damage as fast as possible. I don’t think he cares if he wins in 2012..Being president is to much hard work, he can leave with all the perks, start the speech tour, girlfriends etc.

He has to know he won’t be liked by anyone after 8 years, so if he would get beaten in four the libs will still grovel at the feet of their messiah. Then he gets to play know it all for the next 40 years, gag

Obama and the Congressional leadership expect to lose seats but retain control. Since the seats and members they expect to lose are relatively moderate, the net result will be a more cohesive and liberal Democratic caucus. This will make it easier for Obama to govern and run for re-election as the liberal he is.

No matter what the republicans do, they are always in trouble because the MSM will demonize them no matter what.

We know the Democrat House and Senate caused the economy to fail (just like they are wrecking it now) but many voters didn’t even know that the Legislature was democrat, because the press constantly said, “It’s Bushes fault”.

I have a family member that watches CNN, he blamed the wretched HC bill on the pubs because they wouldn’t deal with the democrats!

You can bet if the repubs win, the economy will already be good and tanked and EVERYTHING bad will be blamed on us.
