To help us in the discussion of Abu Øbama’s decision to deny Jews the right to live on their own land, it might be helpful to rename the 1600 apartments that he, Biden, and Hillary are opposed to.
I just happen to have collected a few modest suggestions here, please feel free to add your own... ,( : >)

“Ben Gurion’s Vista”
FU’BAMA!
Pour it on!
It’s gone from being the White house to the outhouse; 0bama has tirned the melting pot into the chamber pot..
Whatever the rights and wrongs of this whole business, the best outcome would be if Netanyahu ditched Eli Yishai, Lieberman and the rest of the loons, formed a coalition with Kadima, resurrected the Road Map and Olmert’s peace plans and finished this wretched business as soon as possible.
Maybe the Palestinians are more to blame, but Netanyahu is clearly a stumbling block to peace as everyone hates him. Petraeus was partly right. Islamic terror is not going to go away, but removing one of its raisons d’etre cannot hurt, and in this Netanyahu represents a threat to the lives of US and allied soldiers.

How does this sound?
“Whatever the rights and wrongs of this whole business, the best outcome would be if Kenya ditched all Kenyan politicians obsessed with “anti-terrorism” and instead the Kenyan govt forms a coalition with Abdullah al Faisal.”
“resurrected the Road Map and Olmerts peace plans and finished this wretched business as soon as possible.”
Ohmerd was a corrupt socialist who couldn’t kill off Hezbullah when he had the chance. Netanyahu WAS ELECTED. Are you standing with Hussein Obowmao who is trying to destabilize the elected PM of Israel?
The “road map” is garbage forced on Israel by arabists in the U.S. Russia, the EU and the UN.
I am glad you enjoy FreeRepublic, but you have it bass-ackwards if you think any free, pro-democracy nation dedicated to the preservation of the Judeo-Christian West should take ANY direction from those above entities.
“Maybe the Palestinians are more to blame,”
MAYBE?
“but Netanyahu is clearly a stumbling block to peace as everyone hates him.”
“stumbling block to peace...”
Turn off CNN and stop reading the Guardian. Every time you quote them you make yourself look ignorant.
Only jihadis, communists and their brainwashed useful idiots hate Netanyahu.
“Petraeus was partly right. Islamic terror is not going to go away, but removing one of its raisons detre cannot hurt, and in this Netanyahu represents a threat to the lives of US and allied soldiers.”
You’re a slandering liar. Petraeus, while more than a decent General, is a CFR type / Rockefeller Repub, in the Christie “I kneel at Arafat’s grave” Whitman mold.
The only threat to U.S. and allied troops in the ASS-KISSING being done to islamis terror around the world, example for the day being YOUR COMMENT.
Here’s an idea - how about we start to solve the growing muslim terror problem in KENYA with AMERICA DEMANDING that Kenya give up more land for Madrassas, starting with your precious FORT JESUS.
Then after London has completely gone muslim, Kenya can rightfully change its name to KENYASTAN.
Perfect!
So, you support a Jew-free territory?
Why are arabs allowed to live wherever, but Jews have to be concentrated to neighborhoods — aka ghettos?
Seriously, get you facts from someone besides the Jew-hating MSM.
(And no, not Jewish.)
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue?
They wouldn’t have the chutzpah, would they.
Don’t know what they should call the actual buildings, but the road should be PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE. (1600 apts and all :)
(Dohh...) sorry. Didn’t steal your line...just guilty of not reading entire thread before posting.
Bad PaMom
!
Could we try to have a civilised conversation, without the use of capital letters? No need to shout at each other, my dear chap.
First thing to point out is that Likud won fewer votes and one fewer seats than Kadima in the last election, so hardly an overwhelming mandate.
Secondly, whatever you think of the road-map, Israel signed on to it. Israel should therefore make an effort to live up to the commitments it made under the Road Map and at Annapolis.
Reading Yediot and Haaretz the other day, I was interested to see that the number of Israelis who backs continued building beyond the Green Line in Jerusalem now only exceeds those who want a freeze by three per cent — within the margin of error of the poll.
I don’t actually get all my news from the MSM, certainly not from the Guardian. I moved to Jerusalem last year and frankly have somewhat adjusted my ardently pro-Israel-no-matter-what philosophy. I do not think Netanyahu is ultimately a good thing for Israeli security or, as I said for the safety of American and British security interests in Afghanistan and the Middle East.
I do hope you have a good day and remember, a soft answer turneth away wrath!
PS — Tzipi Livni might be surprised to hear that she’s being likened to Abdullah al Faisal!
The (P)Residentials @ 1600 Penn Ave, Jerusalem.
Well, it’d be fun to watch the turbans go turbo.
“First thing to point out is that Likud won fewer votes and one fewer seats than Kadima in the last election, so hardly an overwhelming mandate.”
Likud and the Right / Religious Block took 10 more seats than Kadima / the left / traitors / communists / arabs.

“Secondly, whatever you think of the road-map, Israel signed on to it. Israel should therefore make an effort to live up to the commitments it made under the Road Map and at Annapolis.”
Yes, and the Arabs also signed it, and instead of just writing about your silly feelings, please list for us all here the commitments that the arabs have “lived” up to on the Road Map.
And please also discuss the Jews being forced to enter through the servants entrance at Annapolis.
“Reading Yediot and Haaretz the other day, I was interested to see that the number of Israelis who backs continued building beyond the Green Line in Jerusalem now only exceeds those who want a freeze by three per cent within the margin of error of the poll.”
Haaretz is left wing. Yediot not much better.
“I don’t actually get all my news from the MSM, certainly not from the Guardian.”
Then you are simply parroting their news from your innate love of jihad, your tolerance of communism when it suits your needs, and your desire to have more Jews be killed by Arabs?
Do you dispute the latter? Can you give one example where ceding more land to to the PLO / PA has resulted in LESS JEWISH CASUALTIES?
“I moved to Jerusalem last year and frankly have somewhat adjusted my ardently pro-Israel-no-matter-what philosophy.”
Are you muslim, working for an NGO? Are you getting a “jihad pass” because you blog for them?
f you don’t like living in a Jewish state you should go back to Kenya. You sing it’s praises on your FRpage so well. What made you leave Kenya? Too much muslim terrorism?
“I do not think Netanyahu is ultimately a good thing for Israeli security or, as I said for the safety of American and British security interests in Afghanistan and the Middle East.”
I don’t believe that Kadima is “good thing for Israeli security or, as I said for the safety of American and British security interests in Afghanistan and the Middle East.”.
And as I reread your comments, I think that you as well are an enemy to those interests.
It wouldn’t surprise me if you are working for Tony Blair’s group as he works to destroy Israel in exchange for his interests in Arab oil exploration
“I do hope you have a good day and remember, a soft answer turneth away wrath!”
Nothing more amazing than someone quoting Jewish text while working against Jewish interests.
Why don’t you quote us some “anti-gentile Talmud” as you endorse Arabs keeping the Obomination mosque on our Temple Mount?
Maybe you should remember “He who is merciful to the wicked will be wicked to the merciful.”
“PS Tzipi Livni might be surprised to hear that she’s being likened to Abdullah al Faisal!”
You were the one who suggested Bibi form a coalition with an enemy of Israeli security.
al Faisal is a Kenyan terrorist. Either you are lying re your background in Kenya, or you are dense.
PS - are you registered with the Israeli authorities as an agent of a foreign government?
I’m trying to keep things civil and refrain from ad hominem attacks, why can’t you?
Phase one of the road map called for an end to Palestinian violence, Palestinian political reform and Palestinian elections and for an Israeli withdrawal from Palestinian cities and a freeze on settlement expansion.
Israel’s Palestinian negotiating partners have made more progress in their commitments than the Israeli side has. Whether you like it or not, Palestinian terrorism from the West Bank has all but been halted and the Palestinian security forces under Keith Dayton’s training have been very active in arresting Hamas suspects and those bent on terrorism as well as keeping a lid on a new intifada. They may be far from perfect, but the Abbas/Fayyad combo is a massive improvement on Yasser Arafat. The Palestinians did also have elections, and they were judged free and fair even if the result was disastrous.
While the Israelis did withdraw from major cities they have clearly not fulfilled their pledge on the settlements. There needs to be a freeze for progress to be made, including some kind of slowdown in East Jerusalem (the Shepherd’s Hotel decision in Sheikh Jarrah is disastrous in this respect) and a growing number of Israelis are starting to recognise this
http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/1158599.html
I read the Haaretz article about its polling and it reminds me of WaPo and NYT polls. BUNK.
Building freezes and land concessions have nothing to do with ‘peace’ -— never has, never will. Only one side has ever wanted peace. That fact remains true today. Want to guess which side?
Prime Minster Netanyahu is the defacto leader of the free world, given we're stuck with the son of a Kenyan Muslim Communist in our White House, who's apparently intent to allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons unless "that stumbling block Bibi" stops Iran.
You might want to see how we Americans truly feel about PM Netanyahu and the building Jeruslaem. Our Republican US Representative speaks for the majority of us. PUNCH HERE.
"Im trying to keep things civil and refrain from ad hominem attacks, why cant you?"
Sir, you are disingenuous at best, and possibly a plant and a liar. I asked you once, and I'll ask you again.
Your FR homepage states "PLUGGING KENYA, MY BEAUTIFUL HOMELAND ". You now claim to be in Israel. You claim you "used" to support Israel. Are you Jewish? Muslim? Christian? Are you British? Are you working for an NGO that works for "peace"? Your refusal to answer how you came to your beliefs as well as your claim to location implies you have something to hide.
"...Israels Palestinian negotiating partners have made more progress in their commitments than the Israeli side has. Whether you like it or not, Palestinian terrorism from the West Bank has all but been halted"
Talk about an ad hominem, you just implied I prefer arab terrorism on Jews, while it is your goals that insure that happens.
And any decrease from the Arabs is from Israel closing off access. May we presume you are pleased with that?
" and the Palestinian security forces under Keith Daytons training have been very active in arresting Hamas suspects and those bent on terrorism as well as keeping a lid on a new intifada."
Ah, Pasha Dayton's new arab legion!
Fatah's willingness to play a fraudulent diplomatic game has lured woolly-minded and gullible Westerners, including Israelis, to invest in it. The most recent folly was Washington's decision to listen to its security coordinator in the region, Lieutenant General Keith Dayton, and send Fatah $59 million in military aid to fight Hamas a policy that proved even more bone-headed when Hamas promptly seized those shipments for its own use.
"They may be far from perfect, but the Abbas/Fayyad combo is a massive improvement on Yasser Arafat. The Palestinians did also have elections, and they were judged free and fair even if the result was disastrous."
Yes, Abbas, who only financed the Munich Olympic attacks... and "judged free and fair" by whom, JImmy Carter, or the illegally appointed Fayyad, who we shall soon see will be seen to be stealing almost as much money from the U.S., the EU and his own "palestinians" as did Arafat.
While the Israelis did withdraw from major cities they have clearly not fulfilled their pledge on the settlements."
And how did that withdrawal help save Jewish lives? Please give examples, especially from Gaza?
" There needs to be a freeze for progress to be made, including some kind of slowdown in East Jerusalem (the Shepherds Hotel decision in Sheikh Jarrah is disastrous in this respect)"
Really, Jews should not be able to build in Jewish Jerusalem? WHO OWNS THAT LAND? When was a freeze on Jewish building in Jerusalem made part any settlement?
" and a growing number of Israelis are starting to recognise this"
As others have pointed out, Haaretz is left wing propaganda. And as I asked before, it sounds like you are in business with them to destabilize the Netanyahu govt. Are you registered as a foreign agent? Are you working for any group funded by the New Israel Fund? Doesn't the FreeRepublic community (as well as the Israeli govt) deserve to know who is paying you for your "change of heart" as well as for the time you spend pushing the arab line?
