I tried to say that it appears to me, this image was taken after the two of them ate a take-away dinner, on the table in front of them, there appears to be a take-away container with a napkin on it. And beside zero, there appears to be another take-away container. Therefor, it's possible that item under his boot, that everyone is wondering about, ie., that pink thing in his lap, that you can only see a small portion of, IS A TABLE NAPKIN. As for the hands, they each have two, one is holding a cigarette, one is in his campanion's lap, the other is beside zero, the fourth...well, you have to count the ten fingers on the freinds knee.
