Hayworth faced ethical scrutiny during his unsuccessful reelection campaign for his ties to disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff, whose Native-American clients contributed $100,000 to his campaigns. He is still paying off legal debt that he accumulated preparing for a possible federal investigation in connection with the Abramoff scandal.

I don’t think their support of McLame will help any more than the RNC party hacks support of Suntan Charlie Crist will help him.
We need Hayworth in the Senate even more than we need Rubio (we need both).

Are you aware that during the 1980s, McCain took bribes and kickbacks from Charles Keating, whose Savings and Loan was later bailed out by the U.S. taxpayer?Don't feel bad...my 22 YO daughter had never heard of Chappaquiddick until this morning. I found that out when I told her about the comment Chris Van Hollen made regarding the possibility of Brown defeating Coakley last week.
After I explained it to her, she understood why Democrats shouldn't use "Ted Kennedy", "keys to the car", and "walking away from the scene of an accident" in the same sentence.

I like Sarah Palin just fine and feel no ill will for her loyalty. Also, its pretty standard to support the incumbant over an in party challenger.
That said, only a fool would believe that she’ll be of any real help to him in a senate race. Its not like she’s running for vice senator or anything. As far as Scott Brown is concerned, The win is good but he’s no flyover country conservative.
