I’ve been adding posts here at this site for nearly 6 weeks now. I live 50 miles south of Brisbane, the State Capital of Queensland. We live at the northern end of the famed Gold Coast, home of some of the best surfing beaches on the Planet. It’s around 600 miles north of Sydney. I’m the Editor of a Pennsylvania based Blog site, and someone posted one of our articles here at this site, and from that time, I started to add the occasional post here at this great site.
I’m in Adelaide here mate - longing for Queensland as my parents and brother live in Noosa - still I get to visit each year and enjoy the lifestyle for free! We don’t get fishing here like you guys though!
Sydney’s fireworks were great to watch but you have to wonder about the 5 million dollar price tag. Still if NSW taxpayers are happy to pay for it more power to them!

I’d seen a few brief clips of the Sydney fireworks display on TV but to see the whole thing is fabulous. I’m still trying to pick my jaw off the floor. LOL!
This Tennessee farm gal tips her little straw farm hat to the folks who coordinated the show. I envy the people who were there. It must have been overwhelming!
