Say NO to Terrorists in Illinois
Publius Forum ^ | 11/18/09 | Warner Todd Huston

In a follow up to my earlier post advocating for an actual debate on this issue here in Illinois on this business of bringing terrorists to live in Illinois, a new effort to try and stop this mess has been launched.

Go to Not In Illinois and sign the petition and tell Governor Pat Quinn that we do NOT want terrorists living among us.

We the undersigned ask you to not bring terrorist into Illinois. They should be tried in military courts and not in civilian courts. They are a danger to the citizenry of the United States and should not be brought onto our shores. We the undersigned will work to unseat any politician who enables terrorists to brought into Illinois and into the United States.

Additionally, there are rumors that the facility was either built ON what used to be a pig farm or that fields in that area traditionally used pig manure for winter-time fertilizations.

Again, that is the rumor.

The news of the civil prison was too well coordinated with the civil trials for terrs news. Military trials would be of no profit here. Military prisons are not private, though I suspect many here of the economic fascist bent want them so.

These are Illinois politicians. It is money. Kickbacks, back scratches from corporate service providers, guards unions, you name it. There used to be investigative journalism, I doubt it here. Nothing can touch the paralyzed fear of liberals they have been tricked on their ideals. Conservatives?

They’ve changed their resolution language on the site to this:

We, the undersigned, do not willfully agree with the transfer of terrorists onto American soil. Terrorists must be tried in military courts and not in civilian courts. They are a danger to the citizenry of the United States and should not be brought onto our shores.

We, the undersigned, will work to unseat any politician who agrees with the transfer of terrorists into Illinois or any state in the union.
