12 American Soldiers are dead.

But their deaths did not come at the hand of foreign fighters on some far-flung battlefield.

They came on the American Homeland.

But where is the outrage? Do we hear the clamor of the American “elites” from Hollywood or Washington or Wall Street?

We hear nothing.

We hear the deafening silence of those that still think 9/11 was some terrible hangover from the liberal idealism that they touted in the bars the night before.

12 American Soldiers are dead.

Heroes, all. But let's not forget about the 13th victim; a therapist who at age 62 came back from his heart attack two weeks ago to help our troops.

The death toll is 14. Include Private Francheska Velez and her unborn child. This hiding the fact of an unborn child's death is another case of political correctness. And this political correctness is costing us more than the Fort Hood massacre. It is influencing the way we wage this war against Islamic terrorist who have to be treated with kid gloves on the battlefield. It has infused itself into the military culture like a cancer. Political correctness has allowed our precious heroes to fight with both hands tied behind their backs. Every human rights group in the world follows them around looking for one bullet shot that looks unjustified.

Its time we let these generals in the defense department know that we support them and this Zer0 called President had better start focusing on winning this war. He can take his Obamacare and flush it down the toilet and get down to the real job of defending this nation.

Shall we make that 14? I understand that one of the soldiers killed in the barrage of bullets was pregnant.

Where are we as a nation? How much is it going to take for people to see the reality of it all?

Somehow, I think that it was not so hard for previous generations of Americans to decide things were worth fighting for.

Perhaps, I am alone. Perhaps, I am just naive.

What happened to America?
