Why do America think it rules the Earth?
It does not.
My home country, Sweden, has 9 million inhabitants and we rule Europe, aka the largest economy on the planet.

China, the US as well as Germany are loosers in the game of industrial achievments compared to my "little" nation.

Really? Got nukes? Got a history of being anything but neutral? You do have nice looking fighter planes and beautiful women, neither of which would keep your nation from being squashed by about 50 other countries if they decided that they had heard one too many ABBA songs.

If America is the “evil empire” that so many one-worlders, Europeans, Gnome Chomsky-ites and Obots says it is, please answer me one question: Why didn’t the USA take over the world in 1945 when we had the power to do so? We had a monopoly on atomic weapons, the largest, most powerful fleet of warships in history, a vast number of military aeroplanes, a twelve million man army, and much more. it would have been child’s play to do so. Can you imagine Soviet Russia, Hitler’s Germany or any other world power foregoing that opportunity?

I’ve travelled some in Italy and India, but nothing really compares to smoked “röding”.

BTW, I bought IKEA furniture cause it was cheap and I had little money. Put it together, looked nice, and when we lifted up the furniture to move it, it fell apart. Completely useless.

I don’t doubt your words a bit. I am half Norwegion myself. I heard that the Swedish army recently purchased 5000 German septic tanks... as soon as they figure out how to drive them... they are going to invade Norway.

Any predictions on how Sweden will do in the 2010 Winter Olympics? Last time in Torino you finished 6th with 14 medals 7 of which were gold. Better or worse this time around?
