NPR is wringing its hands . . . with good reason. Let's look at their list of Senate races and see how much good news is there for the Dems.
Democratic leader Harry Reid is woefully unpopular in Nevada. Six Republicans are competing for the chance to topple him the way GOP Sen. John Thune of South Dakota did to then-Democratic leader Tom Daschle in 2004.
RCP has both Republicans Lowden and Tarkanian beating Reid.
Let's keep track. So far we are R-1, D-0.

Any democan/republicrat senator up for re-election needs to be replaced by a conservative.
Period.
The article, while relatively solid, does count Castle and Kirk as Republicans, which is incorrect.
Mr. Mortgage fraud Chris Dodd should be beatable.
hip hip, hooray!
There’s a lot of potential for next year. I’ve never seen such a clear big government antiliberal environment. Even in 1994 there was never this kind of unifying sentiment to take this country back. The Gop had better take note this is an opportunity to get back what they squandered. They also have the opportunity to destory the Democrat brand which they have not been good enough at doing.
Although you may not like Mark Kirk, he is far better than another Reid/Durbin sock puppet.
Sarah Palin’s parents have been actively campaigning for Tarkanian in Nevada. He seems like a good guy, as long as dingy Harry is gone, I will do a happy dance
How much money went into the Governors races in NJ and VA? How much fraud? How many times did zerO campaign for the donk candidates?
Money isn’t everything. Crowds of engaged youth and minorities aren’t everything. They didn’t get Walter Mondale anywhere. This present environment is worse for the donks then that one was. This time, strong percentages of the donk base are living in the Progressive utopia and are not liking it.
If conservatives stay home or vote for marginal, yet pure, candidates or if the libertarians all write in Ron Paul again, they will retain the majority. Otherwise, we have a shot.
I think Tarcadian is a much better shot to defeat Reid, provided that Tarcadian is ready for the big leagues.
Castle is a deficit hawk and supports a strong national defense. Our alternative is Beau Biden. Whom do you prefer?
I can’t argue with that. I would just prefer actual conservatives rather than two of the more liberal Republicans.
Reid is out, that’s a lock
Dodd is in big trouble, but not out
The Massachussetts seat is in play, but leans dem
The Florida seat is likely GOP
Who else?
The overall number is wrong. California is not a net pick up for the RATS - it is a D hold.
It helps when I read the article :)
But I can still add that the MA open seat is not out of the question.
OK, I get it now. My bad. Thx for posting - good analysis.
Can we hold Ohio? I know Kasich is going to be a good gubernatorial candidate. Porter is a solid conservative for the Senate but he is SO boring.
A lot will depend on money, and many of the incumbent RATS have huge warchests. Not sure the NRSC will have as much bread as the DSSC. We may all have to dig deep.
Reid should go down given the scandals that are about to hit him. But he will fight every inch and it will be close.
Kirk has his drawbacks but it would do us no good if anyone were to try to undermine him. We NEED Kirk in the senate. We need to win that seat and I think he can do it.
FRAUD CAN STILL DEFEAT US EVEN IF WE HAVE AN EDGE ON THE DEMS.
The best way to fight fraud is to BE THERE as an Election Judge, Alternate Judge, or Poll Watcher.
See my post to learn a few of the fraud perp’s tricks:

No problem. As for Ohio, we’d have to ask a local about that one.
Great article, well worth the read.
You mean Chris “Countrywide” Dodd?
