A lady called from the steps of the Capital at 11:30am to a localtalk radio show reporting 6,000 people had arrived with many more streaming in from all sides.
I’m not get any info on this rally....could someone tell me the estimated numbers of People present at the rally???

I think bluedogs are dead, politcally, one way or the other. The longer they draw it out, delay passage, to worse for them. If they pass it quickly they can hope public outrage subsides by November 2010.

A scant eight weeks ago a huge number of people showed up in DC, some say well over a million, and even B O’R on FOX
of all places reported it irresponsibly as around 75000.
The Dems swept it under the rug, regarding it with contempt, and got away with it.
They have been doing that consistently in the face of EVERY Tea Party protest since Tax Day, on April 15.
I love Michelle Bachmann but this is another thing that was done on the spur of the moment, ( the timeframe made that necessary, since she felt the bill was about to be voted on posthaste, and a big showing was urgent), and another thing
that the Pelosi-Reid Juggernaut will find a way to spit on.
If it’s smaller than September 12, they’re not even going to acknowledge that they see it.
Wanna get their attention? SET A DATE FOR A DC RALLY LET THEM KNOW THAT WE ARE SHOWING UP 40 MILLION STRONG, and THAT WE ARE NOT MOVING, WE ARE STAYING UNTIL THEY LEAVE.
That is the ONLY way these creeps are going to retreat.
It has GOT to be disconcerting for them to see average Joe and Jane America fed up.

I think it’s worse for the bluedogs if ObamaCare is still an oozing open sore in November. They need to lance it, one way or the other. They are best off if it dies soon, less bad off if it passes soon and worst off if it is still front and center in twelve months.
If ObamaCare is still in the News in October 2010, many a bluedog is either gonna jump Republican or die at the polls.
