Can someone explain to me what the heat source is that keeps moving and at a good speed during the footage? I at first assumed this was a bird. But after watching the movements thought it might be a dog.
Any thoughts?
Some kind of glitch on the screen! If it were anything live on the ground it wouls have reacted to the huge explosion. It stays stays stationary for a short-short and then moves again - superimposed over the rising dust cloud on the screen.

This is an AC-130 gunship. They have a good sized crew. What you are hearing is the spotter reporting back to the gunners that their fire is effective.
Can you elaborate.
